At the beginning of the year, a national video conference on fishery safety production work was held to convey the spirit of the instructions of the State Council Security Committee on strengthening safety production work and deploy key work throughout the year. Strengthen emergency duty, strengthen emergency duty and department coordination and cooperation, and ensure timely, efficient and proper disposal of emergency incidents. Strengthen guidance and supervision, in July and August typhoon-prone period, actively organize and do a good job in "Chanhong","Sudiluo" and other super typhoon anti-resistance work.

Strengthen publicity and education to improve safety awareness and skill level. Propaganda and implementation of the new "Safety Production Law," organize and carry out "Safety Production Month" series activities, strengthen the publicity of fishery safety production. Carry out emergency drills, strengthen foreign-related publicity and education of fishermen, and improve crew safety awareness skills. Carry out dialogue activities with managers of fishery enterprises (fishing boat owners), strengthen enterprises and ship owners to improve safety awareness and responsibility, and further strengthen fishing boat safety management.

Strengthen supervision and inspection to ensure that responsibilities are implemented and hidden dangers are rectified in place. Organize and carry out major inspections on fishery safety production, and carry out in-depth special actions such as "six strikes and six cures" to crack down on illegal activities and safety inspections in flood seasons. Supervision teams have been sent to Zhejiang, Shandong and other key fishing areas for 8 times to carry out fishery safety production inspection and flood control and anti-Taiwan supervision, pay close attention to hidden danger investigation and rectification, and promote the implementation of supervision responsibilities.

Strengthen the inspection and law enforcement of fishing boats and investigate potential safety hazards of fishing boats. Since 2014, the "three major actions" of law enforcement supervision on basic data of fishing vessels, safety and technical status of fishing vessels and quality status of marine products have been carried out nationwide, and comprehensive inspection and rectification of fishing vessels have been carried out. In 2014, the basic data survey of 437,000 fishing boats was completed, and the hidden safety risks existing in 310,000 fishing boats were investigated. The quality supervision and rectification actions of fishing vessels carried out 2587 special inspections, and 12,000 fake products were investigated and dealt with. In 2015, the three major actions were mobilized and redeployed, and the action promotion measures were implemented in detail.

Promote the establishment of peace and build a long-term supervision mechanism for fishery safety production. Organize and carry out the activities of establishing "National Safe Fishery Demonstration County" and consolidate the basic infrastructure construction of fishery safety production. The implementation of the newly promulgated Measures for the Management of Fishery Crew and related supporting regulations, the development and construction of a national fisheries crew management information system, and the improvement of scientific and systematic management. Constantly strengthen the system construction and construct a long-term mechanism for safety production supervision.
