There are also Tibetan Cordyceps sinensis which are produced in Qinghai and Xizang.

An area with good production:

Generally speaking, the inherent quality of Cordyceps sinensis produced in Qinghai and Xizang is better than that of other places, and it is very popular in the market, and the price is higher because of the narrow distribution of wild Cordyceps sinensis, low natural parasitism rate and stringent requirements for living conditions. So its own resources are relatively limited. The quality of Cordyceps sinensis basically follows such a rule, the higher the altitude, the better the quality of Cordyceps sinensis.

Classification of Cordyceps sinensis:

1. Cordyceps sinensis: also known as Cordyceps sinensis. The seed seat grows from the center of the insect head and does not cover the whole insect head; the top of the son seat is round, the middle four feet are not very prominent, the ring pattern is not as obvious as the authentic Cordyceps sinensis, and there are more forks in the grass head. (this is also the case with authentic Cordyceps sinensis, but only a few hundred can see a bifurcation, which should be identified according to other features.) other physical features are basically the same. Some of the cordyceps are white, which are easy to identify, and some are yellow, which are difficult to identify.

2. Cordyceps liangshanensis: the insect body is thick and short, the surface is brown and black, the ring is numerous, the rusty downy, the receptacle is long, much longer than the insect body, up to 30 cm, the branches are slender and tortuous, and the head of the fruiting body is columnar or rod-shaped. It's not obvious. A few "grass departments" have branches at the top.

3. Xinjiang Cordyceps sinensis: the body is like silkworm, the surface is dark red to purplish red, and the texture is hard. The constellation is usually absent. (the above are counterfeits) the counterfeits of Cordyceps sinensis in Xinjiang are better identified.
