Mimosa is also called sensitive grass, mimosa, shout grass, fear of ugly grass, laughing grass, husband and wife grass, mimosa, its flowers, leaves and pods have a better ornamental effect. How much is the price of mimosa seeds per jin? How long does it take to sprout? When will you plant it? What are the planting methods? I learned from Suqian seed Company that the price of mimosa seeds is about 150 yuan-250 yuan per jin, and the sowing rate is 5 jin per mu. The flowering time of mimosa is from March to September, and the seed maturity is 40 days. The flower colors of mimosa are white and yellow and pink, and the flowering time is different in different regions.

How long does the mimosa seed sprout?

The germination of mimosa seeds depends on how you deal with them. If you soak them in water for 1-2 days before planting, the seeds will sprout more easily, about 7-14 days. No, it takes longer to handle it.

There are also seeds that need to be watered after they are planted. If it rains, drenching them in the rain can make the seeds germinate earlier.

What are the planting methods of mimosa?

I. selection of nursery sites

The shy grassland is produced in America and is now found in every corner of the world. It has been planted in Taiwan, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other places in China. Mimosa has strong plants, strong ability to adapt to the environment and loose soil requirements. It is suitable for growing in loess, black soil, clay and sandy soil with abundant sunshine, fertile soil and rich organic matter. The fields suitable for planting mimosa are wheat stubble, potato stubble, soybean stubble and so on.

II. Land preparation

1. Deep ploughing: mimosa grows best and has the highest yield in fields with loose and fertile soil. Clean the land with weeds, then apply base fertilizer and plough it one at a time to ensure that the soil is soft and fine and there are no large clods. 4 tons of farm manure is used for fertilization per mu of land, and cow manure and pig manure are the best.

2. Planting: if you want to have a high and stable yield, you must have one prerequisite, no matter whether you plant any crop. Mimosa is drought-resistant and not resistant to waterlogging, and its plants are short, and soaking in water will lead to a large number of dead seedlings. Before making a bed, dig the drainage ditch around the nursery, then make the land into a fixed 1.5-meter-wide border, and hold the land flat, waiting for sowing.

Third, sowing seeds

Sowing is the simplest task, mimosa has the characteristics of wide spread, the germination rate is very high, mimosa seeds can still have a high germination rate without germination. Generally, the strip sowing method is used to sow seeds with a row spacing of 40 cm and a sowing depth of 3 cm. After planting, they are flooded with water, and the seedlings emerge in 7-10 days after covering the rice straw or plastic film used for moisturizing.

IV. Management at seedling stage

During the emergence period, attention should be paid to watering to maintain sufficient soil moisture to ensure smooth germination. When the seedlings grow to 10 centimeters, they leave strong seedlings, pull out weak seedlings and seedlings that sprout late, and then work on regular watering, loosening the soil, fertilizing, weeding, killing insects and so on. If it is for flower retail, it needs to be planted in a seedling tray and then transplanted into a container flowerpot.

When will mimosa be planted?

Mimosa is generally suitable for live broadcast in the shed in early spring. The sowing time can be from late March to early April. When sowing, spread the seeds evenly on the fine soil, covering the soil about 1.5cm, when the temperature is about 18 ℃, the seedlings can emerge in about 10 days. It grows slowly in the seedling stage, and can be planted or put on the pot when it is 8cm.

Family potted plants can also be used for direct broadcast in small pots. The sowing soil was prepared with 20% rotten leaf soil, 30% garden soil and 50% fine yellow sand after sieving. When sowing, first put an appropriate amount of culture soil in the basin, smooth and compacted, sprinkle through water with a spray pot, and sow immediately after all the water permeates. Two seeds were sown in each pot. If the seedlings are raised in a shallow basin, the seedlings will be sown on demand at a distance of 2 cm × 2 cm. After sowing, cover the soil with 5cm of soil to cover the seeds. Cover the basin with glass or plastic film to moisturize the basin and place the basin at about 20 ℃ of astigmatism. When the basin soil is dry, it can be irrigated by soaking basin method. After about 10 days, the seeds germinated and sprouted.
