Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Sheep is one of the familiar livestock, which has been raised in China for more than 5000 years. The whole body of sheep is a treasure, and its fur can be made into a variety of woolen and leather products. So how many months can the sheep be fenced? How much is the profit of each one? 1. Fat sheep in 3-4 months

Sheep is one of the familiar domestic animals, which has been raised in China for more than 5000 years. Sheep whole body is treasure, its fur can be made into a variety of wool and leather products. How many months does it take to raise sheep? What's the profit per animal?

1. Fat sheep can be sold in 3-4 months. the profit from raising a lamb seedling for four months is more than 200 yuan, and it is difficult to exceed 300 yuan.

2, sheep house selection design should be appropriate. Sheep houses should be selected in dry terrain, good drainage, sunny places; building materials can be locally sourced. Sitting north facing south, take east-west direction, sheep house each for 15--25 square meters is appropriate. However, the bottom of the ring should be 30- 40 cm high. This is conducive to cold, warmth, moisture, ventilation and feeding management.

3. Feed formula needs to be scientific. Sheep are ruminants, summer and autumn to feed more grass, winter and spring and to feed more silage straw feed. In the concentrate feed for each sheep daily supply of not less than 200 grams or so is appropriate, the general concentrate in the crude protein accounted for 16--18%.

4. Disease prevention and control should be done well. In March and September of each year, triple vaccine and quadruple vaccine are used to prevent and vaccinate sheep fast-epidemic disease, sheep sudden death, sheep enterotoxemia and lamb dysentery. At ordinary times, according to the actual situation, with afudine, albendazole, etc. to drive out parasites inside and outside the sheep. Keep daily disinfection closed, and disinfect the ground of sheep house frequently.

Goat breeding technology

Compound feed and feeding rate of goat

(i) The principle of coordination of daily quantities

According to the digestive physiological characteristics and nutritional requirements of sheep, considering its palatability, nutritional value of feed and economic benefits, etc., hay and grass are mainly eaten, and concentrate is used to supplement the insufficient part according to feeding standards. Due to the digestive physiological characteristics of ruminants, there is great flexibility in formulating feed formulations. Under the premise of meeting the requirement of coarse feed, the corresponding feed standard is referred to for preparation. The principles are:

1. Meet the physiological needs of sheep in various stages. Goats of different sex, age, body weight and physiological status were fed with different feeding methods and standards. Formulate feed formula according to feeding experience.

2. Feed types should be diversified and palatability should be good. In the feed mix, the more feed types, the better, feed quality (nutritional value) to maintain a relatively stable, consider the relationship between feed intake and feed volume, concentrate and coarse feed appropriate mix. No moldy feed.

3. The diet is mainly composed of high quality green and coarse feed, with appropriate combination of concentrate, which must have a certain volume and ensure dry matter content.

4. Feed selection can be based on local conditions, at the same time, feed prices should also be considered to reduce feeding costs.

5. For lambs, it is not suitable to feed excessive volume or excessive moisture; for ewes at the early stage of lactation, high-quality hay and grass should be given priority to, and appropriate concentrate and juicy feed should be fed; for ewes at the peak of lactation, besides feeding high-quality hay equivalent to 1.0~1.5% of body weight and a certain amount of concentrate, grass, silage and rhizome feed should be fed as much as possible; for breeding rams, high-quality grass and leguminous mixed hay and fresh grass should be given priority. Mixed concentrate should be supplemented during mating. Breeding peak period, can be appropriate to increase milk, eggs or fish meal protein feed.

(ii) Formulation

1. Lamb feed formula: ① corn 50%, bran 15.0%, soybean meal 20%, mineral trace elements 1%, hemp meal 12%

Calcium powder 1%, salt 1.0%. (2) corn 55%, bran 20%, rapeseed cake 10%, soybean cake 10%, bone meal 1%, salt 0.5%, fish meal 3%, trace elements and other additives 0.5%.

2. Fattening sheep feed formula: corn 62%, bran 10.0%, soybean meal 12.5%, hemp meal 12%, calcium powder 1%, salt 1.0%. Mineral trace elements 1%, baking soda 0.5%. 15~20kg.

3. Formula of sheep feed: ① corn 54%, bran 13.0%, soybean meal 18%, hemp meal 12%, calcium powder 1%, salt 1.0%. Mineral trace elements 1%. Rams grow fast. Feed them more. (2) corn flour 64%, bean cake 10%, vegetable cake 15%, bran 10.2%, salt 1.0%. (3) corn flour 50%, bean cake 15%, bran 19.0%, rice bran 15%, salt 1.0%.

4. Formula of ewes feed: corn 49%, bran 18.0%, soybean meal 24%, hemp meal 6%, stone powder 1%, salt 1.0%. Mineral trace elements 1%

5. Ram feed formula: corn 55%, bran 12.0%, soybean meal 21%, hemp meal 9%, calcium powder 1%, salt 1.0%, mineral trace elements 1%.

(3) Feed quantity

1. Feed quantity of concentrate.

The daily feeding amount of concentrate is 1/15-1/10 of sheep weight. According to the feeding standard of sheep and the nutrient composition of concentrate, combined with the actual situation of this field (household), the daily supplement amount of concentrate for sheep is formulated as follows:

(1) Ram: non-breeding period: 0.3~0.5kg per day (divided into two feeding); breeding period: 0.8-1.0kg per day (divided into three feeding)

(2) ewes: 0.3- 0.5 kg/d, including 0.4 kg/d in early pregnancy, 0.5 kg/d in late pregnancy, 1/3 of feed reduction in parturient ewes, 0.5 kg/d in nursing sheep (lamb lactation period 2 - 3 months);

Lamb: 20-30 days old, 50-70g per day;1-2 months old 100-150g;2-3 months old 200g;3-4 months old 250g.

Fattening sheep: 0.2~0.6kg.

2. Feeding amount of coarse feed:

Forages containing more than 18% crude fiber are collectively referred to as coarse feed. The dry matter of roughage accounts for 60-70% of the total dry matter content. Insufficient roughage feeding will seriously affect the normal metabolism of sheep and cause the decline of production performance.

Goats have large rumen volume and strong ability to utilize green hay. The daily feeding amount of hay is 3-4% of sheep body weight. Green feed is rich in vitamins and calcium, rich in nutrients and good palatability. The daily intake of green feed alone is about 12% of sheep weight. However, feeding leguminous grass should be controlled, otherwise it is easy to cause swelling and death.

The daily feeding amount of coarse fodder for each adult sheep is: grass 4kg, hay 0.6-0.8kg~ 1kg. or under the condition of concentrate supplement, the weight of grass was 3kg, accounting for about 6.7% of the body weight. Other coarse feed was available ad libitum.

The amount of roughage required to feed sheep is determined by the daily feed rate, number of sheep and feeding days. For example:

Roughage amount = daily feeding amount × feeding days × number of sheep.

The actual feeding amount should also be flexibly controlled according to the breed, sex, age, weight, use, physiological condition of the sheep.

3. Each sheep in winter and spring to prepare enough 20 jin concentrate, 300 jin hay.
