Organic fertilizers are mainly derived from plants and/or animals, while chemical fertilizers are made by chemical and/or physical methods. But it's all about feeding the crop. So in agricultural production, what are the benefits of using organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer together? What are the differences?

What are the benefits of using organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer in agricultural production?

As we all know, for a long time we have only used chemical fertilizers for farming, which has caused many problems in the soil at present, and even endangered our living environment. At present, China vigorously advocates increasing the application of organic fertilizer, that is, fertilization should be carried out jointly with organic fertilizer (chemical fertilizer), which has the following advantages:

1, chemical fertilizer nutrient content is high, fertilizer efficiency is fast, but the duration is short, nutrient is single, organic fertilizer is just the opposite, organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer mixture can complement each other, to meet the needs of nutrients in various growth stages of crops.

2. After chemical fertilizer is applied to soil, some nutrients are absorbed or fixed by soil, which reduces the availability of nutrients. After mixed application with organic fertilizer, the contact surface between chemical fertilizer and soil can be reduced, and the probability of chemical fertilizer being fixed by soil can be reduced.

3, the general chemical fertilizer solubility is large, after application, it causes higher osmotic pressure on the soil, affects the absorption of nutrients and water by crops, and increases the chance of nutrient loss. If mixed with organic fertilizer, it can promote the absorption of nutrients and water by crops.

4. If acid fertilizer is applied to alkaline soil alone, after ammonium is absorbed by plants, the remaining acid radicals combine with hydrogen ions in the soil to form acid, which will lead to enhanced soil acidity and intensified soil hardening. If mixed with organic fertilizer, it can improve the buffer capacity of soil and effectively adjust pH value.

Because organic fertilizer is the energy source for microbial life, chemical fertilizer is an inorganic nutrient for microbial growth and development. The mixture of the two can promote the activity of microorganisms, and then promote the decomposition of organic fertilizer. The activity of soil microorganisms can also produce vitamins, biotin, nicotinic acid, etc., increase soil nutrients, improve soil vitality, and promote crop growth.

What are the differences between organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer in agricultural production?

1, organic fertilizer contains a lot of organic matter, has a significant role in soil fertility; chemical fertilizer can only provide crop inorganic nutrients, long-term application will cause adverse effects on the soil, so that the soil "more greedy."

Organic fertilizers contain a variety of nutrients, and the nutrients contained in them are fully balanced; while chemical fertilizers contain a single type of nutrients, and long-term application is easy to cause nutrient imbalance in soil and food.

3, organic fertilizer nutrient content is low, need a lot of application, and chemical fertilizer nutrient content is high, application amount is small.
