2. After chemical fertilizer is applied to soil, some nutrients are absorbed or fixed by soil, which reduces the availability of nutrients. 4. If acid fertilizer is applied to alkaline soil alone, after ammonium is absorbed by plants, the remaining acid radicals combine with hydrogen ions in the soil to form acid, which will lead to enhanced soil acidity and intensified soil hardening. If mixed with organic fertilizer, it can improve the buffer capacity of soil and effectively adjust pH value.

Because organic fertilizer is the energy source for microbial life, chemical fertilizer is an inorganic nutrient for microbial growth and development. The mixture of the two can promote the activity of microorganisms, and then promote the decomposition of organic fertilizer. The activity of soil microorganisms can also produce vitamins, biotin, nicotinic acid, etc., increase soil nutrients, improve soil vitality, and promote crop growth.

What are the differences between organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer in agricultural production?

1, organic fertilizer contains a lot of organic matter, has a significant role in soil fertility; chemical fertilizer can only provide crop inorganic nutrients, long-term application will cause adverse effects on the soil, so that the soil "more greedy."
