2. Classified according to flowering season: summer chrysanthemum, autumn chrysanthemum and cold chrysanthemum.

3. Classification according to flower type: the head of chrysanthemum forms different flower patterns because of its different arrangement of ligulate flowers. There are mainly single valve type, curl type, dance ring type, ball type, rosette type, dragon claw type, Gui type, vertical bead type, vertical wire type, burr type and so on.

4. Classified according to commercial application: multi-headed chrysanthemum, specimen chrysanthemum, standing chrysanthemum, cliff chrysanthemum, high-grafted chrysanthemum, chrysanthemum, flower bed chrysanthemum and so on.

5. Classification according to photoperiod response: short-day hybrid chrysanthemum used for annual flowering, its natural flowering period is in autumn. In the northern hemisphere, varieties are divided into early, middle and late types according to the time of flowering. According to the response group, the varieties are divided into 6-15 weeks, that is, from the beginning of short-day treatment to the number of weeks required for flowering. 7. Florescence
