Last Updated: 2024/11/05, "Ling Jian lotus" is a perennial epiphyte. Because its overall shape is more similar to the shape of the arrow, and the flower is more like a water lily, so it is named. Its height is 50 to 100 centimeters, which is a rare good product. So, how do you graft?

1. The choice of Ye Xian

We usually choose "Ye Xian" as the rootstock. When choosing, we should pay attention to those that are thicker and need to be more cold-resistant.

2. Selection of soil for planting.

In order to make the grafted plants grow better, we should also pay attention to the soil. In general, we can choose rotten leaf soil, and in it mixed with some cinder, eggshell and other substances, mix evenly to sift out the dust, it is best to go through disinfection before use.

3. The choice of time

What we are mainly considering is the temperature. In view of the fact that about 25 degrees is more suitable, we usually choose spring and autumn. However, if the conditions are not quite permissible, summer is also possible, as long as the temperature is not too high.

4. Carry out grafting

Sharpen the branches of Ye Xian, then gently insert the knife at the bottom of the lotus, and then insert the branches of Ye Xian. After that, the branches were clamped on both sides of Ye Xian's leaves and fixed with clips and other objects. If the air is not very dry, then the interface does not need to pay special attention; if it is very dry, then we can use "wax seal" to retain water in order to prevent it from losing water.

5. Points for attention

(1) No matter when you choose to do grafting, you must pay attention to the state of Ye Xian, preferably full. In this way, the chance of success is high, and the speed of healing is also fast.

(2) if the weather is too hot and humid, it is best to put the plant in a ventilated place.
