Home-brewed wine can not only avoid drinking fake wine and protect the heart, but also promote appetite, anti-oxidation, anti-cancer and sterilization, which is a good choice for home-made drinks. Is the wine made at home poisonous? How long will it last? What are the brewing methods?

Is the wine made at home poisonous?

According to the professional answer, there is generally no toxic poisoning.

1. Because the concentration of methanol in the self-brewing process is very difficult to reach the harmful degree to the human body, and the wine does not have the process of distillation, there will be no problem of methanol enrichment, so it will not cause poisoning.

2. However, because of the limited conditions, there is no pre-treatment of industrial production, improvement of bacteria and technology, so it is better to drink less.

3. In fact, the greatest harm of home-brewed wine is the pollution of miscellaneous bacteria, so the requirement of sterilization in the whole process should not be low, otherwise it will not only affect the fermentation of grapes and the taste of wine, but also cause other problems and even produce toxins.

How long can I keep the wine I brew at home?

1. Although homemade wine has no shelf life, it has the best drinking period. The best drinking period varies with different wines, such as white wine and pink wine within 1-3 years.

2. Red wine is three years later, but it is not the older the better. Mainly because the wine is not like liquor or other gin and other distilled liquor, the sealing of self-made wine is not very good, so it is not easy to drink for a long time, generally within three years for the best. Keeping it for a long time will not only affect the taste, but also harmful to the body.

What are the ways to make your own wine at home?

1. Choose and buy grapes

You can choose some crimson ripe grapes, even if they are scattered grapes. First, these grapes are easy to ferment, and second, the price is relatively low.

2. Wash grapes

As the grape skin may contain pesticides, rinse repeatedly with tap water and remove rotten grapes. After washing the grapes, dry or dry the surface moisture of the grapes.

3. Fermentation

Put the grapes in a clean basin, wash them with both hands, and pinch the grapes directly. Crush the grapes one by one with your hands, leaving all the grape skins, seeds and flesh in the basin, then put 3 jin of sugar in 10 jin of grapes according to the ratio of grapes to sugar 10 ∶ 3 (if you don't like sweet friends, you can put 2 jin of sugar), stir well, wait for the sugar to melt completely, and put it in a clean bottle. Note that the bottle should not be too full, leave 1/3 of the space, because the grapes will expand in the process of fermentation, will produce a lot of gas, if too full, the wine will overflow. In addition, in order not to let the outside air in, the jar should be sealed and placed in a cool and dry place. Fermentation is basically completed in 20 days to a month or so, and then the skin and seeds are filtered out with gauze.

4. Save

Finally, the filtered grape juice is sealed and can be drunk after 1 month.
