Yang Shaopin said: land reclamation is agriculture-oriented, establishing a number of large agricultural production bases with international advanced level and modern agricultural enterprise groups with international competitiveness, giving full play to its advantages of scale, marketization, and organization, and striving to ensure the effective supply of national grain and important agricultural products to make new contributions.

He said that a demonstration zone for the modernization of new agriculture with Chinese characteristics. Not only the construction of modern agriculture in land reclamation is in the forefront of the country, but also through its window display, scientific and technological services, cross-regional operations, land trusteeship, generation of tillage and seed generation, land reclamation and other forms of demonstration to promote the development of modern agriculture in the surrounding rural areas. At present, the land reclamation has created more than 600 modern agricultural demonstration zones, providing more than 60 million mu of agricultural machinery operation area for the surrounding rural areas and training more than 2 million people. The supply of improved varieties for land reclamation accounts for about 28.5% of the country.

At the same time, Yang Shaobin also stressed that land reclamation is also in the vanguard of foreign agricultural cooperation and has undertaken the foreign aid task of national agriculture since the 1950s. Since the 1990s, enterprises have begun to actively explore international agricultural cooperation, with continuous expansion of scale, continuous expansion of fields and more diverse forms. At present, 23 reclamation areas across the country have set up 113 overseas enterprises and development projects in 42 countries, making important contributions to the diplomatic strategy of serving the country and the realization of bilateral and multilateral win-win and mutual benefit.
