New shoots, leaf rachis and inflorescence rachis, leaflets are both pilose, sometimes fruiting pedicels and ventral leaflets glabrous. This variety is divided into two types, one kind of leaflet is thin papery, the color is obviously different after drying, the back of the leaf is grayish white, the fruiting pedicel is slender and prolonged; the other kind of leaflet is thickly papery, the leaf surface and fruiting pedicel are glabrous, the lateral veins are sunken in the leaf surface, the leaflets are nearly the same color on both sides, the reddish brown after drying, and the fruiting pedicel is thicker. The flowering period is from May to June and the fruiting period is from October to November. Produced in Qinghai (Xunhua), Gansu, southern Shaanxi, western and northwest Sichuan (Lixian, Heishui, Maoxian, Baoxing and other counties). Found in mountains of 2500-3200 m above sea level.
