Yushu belongs to crassulaceae. Don't look at the trees in its name. In fact, Yushu is a succulent plant from South Africa. The appearance is as beautiful as Jasper. Originally from Africa, it has been introduced and cultivated in China. Yushu is not cold-resistant, at the same time afraid of strong light, likes to grow in a cloudy environment, preferably well-drained sandy loam soil is the most suitable. So what are the breeding methods and matters needing attention of Yushu? How to water Yushu best?

I. Culture methods and matters needing attention of Yushu

Culture methods:

1. Flowerpot culture

Choose appropriate flowerpots, you can buy porcelain pots, plastic pots, ceramic pots and so on, mainly to be in harmony with family decoration. The size of the flowerpot mainly refers to the size of the purchased Yushu, generally with a pot diameter of 15-30 cm is the most appropriate.

2. Soil selection

As we mentioned above, Yushu is not cold-resistant and needs to be cultivated in vents. It is best to choose sandy soil, other soils may not be effective. Now many flower markets will configure the soil proportion for you to save a lot of trouble.

Remember: Yushu does not need too much watering to keep the soil dry, otherwise it is easy to cause root rot and plant death.

3. Watering method

Although Yushu likes to dry, but if the drainage in the basin soil is not smooth, or too much watering, it will also lead to stagnant water problems and lead to rotten roots. According to the weather change, we should control the amount of water. If the indoor temperature is low in winter, the watering frequency can be reduced, about once every 5-10 days. High temperature in summer, you can choose to water once every 3-7 days. Colleagues should also pay attention to indoor ventilation, if there is no one at home, try to put plants on the balcony to absorb nectar.

4. Fertilization method

The growth of Yushu is relatively fast, so you can't fertilize too much. Nitrogen-based fertilizer should be used for about 2 to 3 times in the whole year, and the fertilization concentration should not be high, so it should be carried out in the vigorous growth season.

Yushu does not have high requirements for fertilizer, and when it is large, it only needs to apply base fertilizer.

5. Temperature requirement

Yushu can be farmed in the family all the year round, so pay attention to avoid direct light. The indoor temperature had better be kept within 10-12 degrees Celsius. Too high temperature may lead to leaf shedding in Yushu.

Note:

1. Yushu should take good care of it during the growing period and do not prune buds frequently. Pay attention to keep Yushu as a whole. You can choose to move indoors after October. The outdoor temperature is too low in winter, and the indoor temperature is just right.

2. Yushu can grow well under indoor scattered light conditions, do not put it in strong light, try to avoid moving outdoors in summer, exposure to the sun for too long will cause Yushu leaves to fall.

3. Yushu will accelerate its growth after the increase of temperature in spring, keep the light and pay attention to control the amount of water, and increase gradually. When the outdoor temperature is above 15 degrees Celsius, Yushu can be placed on the balcony where it is not drenched in the rain to absorb nectar. Water can be watered less on rainy days.

Second, how to water Yushu best?

1. Yushu likes a dry environment and should not be watered too frequently.

2. Yushu can be watered at a frequency of 3-5 days during the growing period.

3. The cultivation of Yushu in summer should be watered according to the dry and wet state of the soil, without referring to the fixed periodic value. The same is true in autumn.

4. Less watering in winter. If the temperature is low in winter and the watering frequency is too high, the soil will be too moist, which will cause the root of Yushu to rot to death.

5, patient care, according to the daily temperature changes to observe the growth of Yushu, in order to form its own maintenance system.
