National policy intervention wheat trading rate hit an all-time low
According to monitoring data, a total of 114.42 tons of policy wheat were sold in Anhui and Henan markets on Sept. 8, down 3700 tons from last week; a total of 1300 tons were traded, 2600 tons less than last week; and the turnover rate was 0.11 percent, 0.23 percent lower than last week and a record low.
As of September 8, 2014, the total turnover of wheat was 6.6094 million tons. According to the summary data, as of September 8, the total turnover of policy wheat nationwide was 6.6094 million tons, with a surplus of 18.7 million tons. Among them, Jiangsu Province totaled 3.7305 million tons, Anhui Province 1.3722 million tons, Hubei Province 363500 tons, Henan Province 1.1433 million tons, and Shandong Province all failed auctions.
