Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Red bayberry is a special fruit tree in China, which is favored by consumers because of its unique fruit flavor and rich nutrition. But there are many aspects that should be paid attention to in the cultivation of red bayberry, so what are the main insect pests and physiological diseases of red bayberry? What are the key points of prevention and control techniques? 1. Yang

Myrica rubra is a Chinese specialty fruit tree, its fruit flavor is unique, rich in nutrition, favored by consumers. However, there are many aspects to pay attention to when planting bayberry. What are the main pests and physiological diseases of bayberry? What are the technical points of prevention and control?

I. What are the main pests and physiological diseases of bayberry?

1. Insect pests: fruit flies, leaf rollers, moths, scale insects, etc.

2. Diseases: white rot, shoot blight, leaf spot, red coat disease, etc.

2. How does red bayberry control pests and diseases?

1. Chemical control

(1) In winter, clear the garden, brush the trunk and main branch of Myrica rubra with whitening agent, and spray the trunk, branch and ground with sulfur mixture.

(2) Drosophila, 60g/L ethyl spinosad can be selected for spraying treatment from the fruit color conversion stage to 15 days before the maturity stage; or 0.1% abamectin concentrated bait can be selected for dilution 2-3 times between the fruit color conversion stage and the maturity stage, and then put into the trap tank, 20 cans/mu.

(3) Scale insects, 95% mineral oil emulsifiable concentrate or 30% sodium turpentine aqueous emulsion can be selected. 7-8 The second generation of scale insects occurs in the early stage of the month, or in winter, the garden is cleared and sprayed. High temperature season should avoid high temperature use in the morning or evening, and increase the dilution factor.

(4) Brown spot disease, can choose 33.5% quinoline copper suspension, spray control after picking fruit, or clear garden use.

Note: Pesticide varieties prohibited on bayberry include:

BHC, DDT, toxaphene, aldrin, dieldrin, herbicide, dibromoethane, chlordimeform, diquat, dibromochloropropane, mercury preparations, arsenic, lead, fluoroacetamide, tetramine, sodium fluoroacetate, flurochlorinate, silazone, methamidophos, methyl parathion, parathion, monocrotophos, fosfamide, phenanthrophos, dimefon, methyl sulphos, calcium phosphide, magnesium phosphide, zinc phosphide, ethion sulphos, musaphos, chlorpyrifos, terbuthion, chlorsulfuron, metsulfuron, Amibensulfuron single agent, formetharsine, formetharsine, paraquat aqueous solution, phorate, isofenphos methyl, systemic phosphorus, ethamidophos, cyclosulphos, chlorazophos, aldicarb, carbofuran, isoamidophos, methomyl, methoate, flupronil

2. Physical and chemical control

(1) Net house rain shelter cultivation

In order to effectively block all pests such as fruit flies and reduce the occurrence of diseases, net room can be used to shelter from rain. Net shelter cultivation is suitable for orchards with good ventilation conditions on hills and mountainsides or susceptible to wind damage. The best choice for net room facilities is hot galvanized steel pipe, surrounded by insect net, covered with special plastic film with good light transmission at the top, and the top of the shed is 80 cm above the top of the tree. Cover insect nets 40-50 days before harvest (before fruit flies enter the garden), cover the roof from rain 10 days before harvest, and remove them in time after harvest. After the net is covered, the orchard stops using all pesticides and nutrient solutions until the red bayberry is harvested and the net is withdrawn.

(2) Yellow plate trapping

Using the characteristic of drosophila colorism to trap and kill drosophila adults, before the bayberry matures, hang yellow plates on the branches of bayberry trees, one for each plant.

(3) Insecticide lamp trapping

For moths, leaf rollers and other insect adults phototactic habits, carry out insecticidal lamp trap. Install one insecticidal lamp every 30 mu, turn on the lamp from 19:00 to 23:00 every night at the beginning of hard core period of bayberry, and stop turning on the lamp after fruit picking.
