Strong clove seedlings were selected and planted in pots from February to March. Prune the roots before planting and retain more fibrous roots. The purpose of planting is to ensure that the roots are stretched, that the soil is solid, and that the soil is closely combined with the roots. And then water it thoroughly.

two。 Watering

The adaptability of lilac is very strong, the maintenance method is relatively extensive, usually as long as pay attention to timely weeding, basin soil dry on watering, not stagnant water, you can grow normally. As for the frequency of watering, there is no strict requirement, as soon as it is dry.

3. Temperature

Lilacs like warm and humid environment, native to the equatorial rainforest climate, have a certain degree of cold resistance. The best growth temperature is 15-20 ℃. When the temperature is lower than 3 ℃, the plant will die of frostbite.

Clove haunted likes plenty of sunshine and is slightly shady, so pay attention to keep the plants in a sunny place for maintenance.

4. Turning basin pruning

The clove has to be changed every 2-3 years, removing the plant, pruning the roots, cutting off the old roots and replacing them with new culture soil to promote the growth of new roots.

Before the lilac sprouts in the middle of March every year, it should be pruned, cutting off the branches that are too dense, thin, disease and insect pests, and cut off the branches that are growing vigorously. After falling leaves, you can also carry out a pruning to keep the crown round and beautiful, which is conducive to growth and flowering in the coming year.

Clove culture should be maintained from its infancy, during the clove seedling to do a good job of wind protection, bamboo can be used to fix the trunk of clove plants to reduce the damage caused by shaking.

two。 Weed

Weeding should be carried out from July to October every year to get rid of the grass around the clove plant, but do not throw away the grass, cover the grass on the plant, you can make green manure. After the seedlings grow into large seedlings, they can be pruned properly and cut from 30 centimeters above the ground, which contributes to the growth of branches and luxuriant branches and leaves.

3. Growing environment

Cloves like sunshine, moist, but drought-resistant, so watering should not be too much, but in spring when it is relatively dry, it can be watered once during bud germination and flowering to store enough water. Requires fertile, good drainage of sandy soil, cloves do not like big fertilizer, so do not need more fertilization, otherwise affect flowering.

4. Turn the basin

The flowering and growth of cloves still need to turn the pot and change the new soil every 3 years or so. When turning the basin, the root system should be trimmed to remove the long root and the old root.

After 3 or 4 years of planting, the branches of cloves are aging, and the aboveground parts should be strongly pruned, that is, they will be cut off from 30 cm above the ground, and strong branches will grow soon after they are cut off, so that the crown will be full, and luxuriant flowers will bloom the next year.
