How to plant Dendrobium candidum? If you want to grow potted Dendrobium at home, you need to prepare a plain pottery basin, some broken bark, sawdust and seedlings. Put the seedlings in the flowerpot and fill the pot with bark and sawdust. Then water it and drench the bark and sawdust. After careful care, it will grow well soon.

How to grow Dendrobium in domestic potted plants

1. Prepare materials:

1. Flowerpot: I chose a plain pottery pot with a size of 10 × 10 × 10 cm. The plain pottery pot has good air permeability and water permeability.

2. Bark: try to find a broken bark.

3. Sawdust and Dendrobium seedlings

Second, pot steps:

Step 1: put the seedlings of Dendrobium into the flowerpot, then fill the flowerpot with bark and sawdust, the bark and sawdust can reach the top of the plant root, do not bury the root too deep.

Step 2: prepare to water, it is best to use a sprinkler, the bark and sawdust all drenched, but can not let the phenomenon of stagnant water in the flowerpot, should pay attention to its drainage.

Step 3: fertilization method, as long as the fertilizer is applied in the early spring and the end of autumn each year, the amount of fertilizer is about 10 to 15, and the fertilizer should be diluted before fertilization, and the fertilizer can be applied twice a year, and there is no need for additional fertilization.

Step 4: if diseases and insect pests are found, they can be made clear manually when they are lighter, but in serious cases, not only all the affected areas should be cut off, but also the corresponding fungicides and pesticides should be thoroughly removed. After cutting off the affected area, soak the cut with clean water for a while and replant it in the flowerpot.

Step 5: when choosing the location for potted Dendrobium, try to choose a place with sunshine. If you can't accept sunlight throughout the day, make sure that you are in the sun for a short period of time every day. But do a good job of shading at noon in summer.

Matters needing attention:

In winter, if the bark and sawdust in the lower part of the flowerpot are wet, do not water even if the upper part is dry, you can spray water directly on the plants. Watering when the bark and sawdust are all dry.
