Last Updated: 2024/09/20, Kiwifruit peel contains a lot of Pectinase and hydrolytic protease, which can play the role of gastrointestinal cleaning, so it is also called gastrointestinal assistant, so what are the key points of kiwifruit planting techniques? First, the root system of kiwifruit in the garden is fleshy, especially fragile, and it is afraid of waterlogging.

Kiwifruit skin contains a lot of pectinase and hydrolytic protease, which can play the role of gastrointestinal cleaning, so it is also called "gastrointestinal assistant", so what are the key points of kiwifruit cultivation technology?

1. Garden selection

Kiwi root fleshy, particularly fragile, both afraid of waterlogging, but also afraid of high temperature and drought. To choose convenient transportation, leeward sun, fertile land, irrigation convenient loam or sandy loam, cultivated in such soil, developed roots, vigorous growth of the ground, more results, and large fruits, good color.

II. Planting techniques

High-mound cultivation for waterlogging prevention. On the basis of establishing garden with large holes and seedlings with high standard, fertilizer and topsoil shall be mixed and backfilled, and planting piers shall be 30~40cm above the ground surface to ensure no ponding; seedlings shall be disinfected before planting, and stems of seedlings shall be sprayed with 5°Be stone sulfur mixture once to eliminate germs; roots shall be soaked with 200 times potassium permanganate for 20 minutes, which can effectively prevent root diseases such as root rot in seedling stage.

The planting period should not be later than the end of February. Generally, it is required that the plant spacing is 3m×4m, 55 plants are planted per mu, pollinating trees shall be configured when planting, the ratio of male and female plants shall be 8:1, and the flowering period of matching male plant varieties shall be consistent, so as not to affect pollination. When planting, the roots are stretched around, compacted tightly after returning soil, irrigated with root water, and then adjusted to plant the pier, sprinkled with quicklime and covered with straw or weeds to keep moisture.

III. Fertilization techniques

1. Fertilization techniques for young trees

On the basis of applying enough organic fertilizer, thin fertilizer should be applied frequently in spring and summer, mainly nitrogen fertilizer and phosphorus fertilizer, and the combination of sowing and watering should promote the rapid growth of new shoots, and potassium fertilizer should be supplemented in autumn to promote the aging of branches.

2. Fertilization techniques during fruiting period

Control the amount of nitrogen fertilizer to ensure stable fertility, partial application of nitrogen fertilizer in fruit bearing period leads to excessive growth of new shoots, aggravation of contradiction between shoots and fruits, resulting in flower and fruit drop, and excessive nitrogen fertilizer will aggravate the occurrence of diseases and insect pests.

IV. Flower and Fruit Management

1. Flower protection and fruit protection

Under normal circumstances, if there is a uniform configuration of pollinated male plants, normal fruit setting rate can be achieved. In case of bad weather, artificial pollination can be adopted. After dew dries in the morning, pollen can be glued with a brush and lightly placed on the stigma of female flowers. It can also be sprayed with 0.3% borax +0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate +1% white sugar at flowering stage. The method of breeding bees at flowering stage can also be adopted to improve fruit setting rate.

2. Thinning flowers and fruits

Kiwi fruit set rate is high, often more fruit and poor quality of small fruit, and easy to form the size of the year, must be thinning flowers and fruits, according to the load thinning buds and thinning flowers, each inflorescence to leave 1 fruit, long fruit branches to stay 3~5, medium fruit branches to stay 2~3, short fruit branches to stay 1, try to keep the fruit distribution evenly.

V. Pest control

There are few diseases and insect pests in kiwifruit. At present, anthracnose, brown spot, root rot and so on are found in production. The main pests are aphids, scale insects, sucking fruit moths and so on. First, we should do a good job in winter garden cleaning, cleaning up fallen leaves.
