In the process of flower cultivation, fertilizer is often applied, solid fertilizer can be used, but the dosage is difficult to master, and it is more troublesome. Now there are a lot of nutrient solution can be purchased on the market, but in fact, nutrient solution can be prepared by yourself, so how to prepare flower nutrient solution? What are the precautions?

1. Several commonly used nutrient solution formulas

1. Sodium nitrate 10 g, calcium superphosphate 70 g, ammonium sulfate 25 g, potassium sulfate 35 g, magnesium sulfate 40 g.

Usage: When using the above formula to prepare nutrient solution, mix it with water first, and then add mixed trace elements in the proportion of 3 grams per 100 liters of water before use (trace elements are usually 100 grams of ferrous sulfate, 14 grams of boric acid powder, 10 grams of manganese sulfate mixed into powder for later use).

2. Potassium nitrate 0.7 g/L, boric acid 0.0006 g/L, calcium nitrate 0.7 g/L, manganese sulfate 0.0006 g/L, calcium superphosphate 0.8 g/L, zinc sulfate 0.0006 g/L, magnesium sulfate 0.28 g/L, copper sulfate 0.0006 g/L, iron sulfate 0.12 g/L, ammonium molybdate 0.0006 g/L.

Usage: When used, mix all kinds of elements together, add 1 liter of water, and become nutrient solution. When preparing the nutrient solution, the type and dosage of elements can be increased or decreased according to different requirements of different flowers.

3. 5g urea, 3g potassium dihydrogen phosphate, 1g calcium sulfate, 0.5g magnesium sulfate, 0.001g zinc sulfate, 0.003g iron sulfate, 0.001g copper sulfate, 0.003g manganese sulfate, 0.002g boric acid powder; add 10L water, dissolve and prepare nutrient solution.

Usage: Pouring potted flowers once a week during their growing period. Dosage can be determined according to plant size. For example, flowerpot diameter 20 cm like positive flowers, each time about 100 ml, and the amount of negative flowers to reduce. Winter or dormant period, every half month or 1 month watering once. Tap water is still used for water supplement at ordinary times.

II. Problems to be paid attention to when preparing nutrient solution

When preparing nutrient solution, avoid using metal containers, let alone use it to store nutrient solution, it is best to use glass, enamel, ceramic utensils.

2, in the preparation of the best first with a small amount of warm water at 50℃ will be dissolved in various inorganic salts, and then according to the formula listed in the order of items into the water equivalent to 75% of the capacity, while pouring stirring, and finally add water to sufficient.

If tap water is used in the preparation of nutrient solution, tap water should be treated, because most tap water contains chloride and sulfide, which are harmful to plants, and some bicarbonates will also hinder the absorption of iron by roots. Therefore, when using tap water to prepare nutrient solution, a small amount of sodium EDTA or humate compounds should be added to treat chloride and sulfide in water. If peat is used as the substrate of soilless culture, the above-mentioned disadvantages can be eliminated. If the quality of groundwater is poor, it can be prepared with pollution-free river water or lake water.
