Guiyuan is a kind of rich fruit in our country. It is more common in Guangdong. Many people like to eat this round fruit. After opening the skin, the flesh is wrapped with the core. Longans taste sweet, high in sugar, so it is a high calorie fruit. Longans like to grow in relatively high temperature and humid areas, cultivation management is easy, yield is also very high, many growers took a fancy to its economic benefits. Is that what you mean? What are high-yield cultivation techniques?

Is it a good idea?

Longan refers to fresh fruit. Longan belt shell belt nuclear drying, called longan dry. If it is to go to the shell to the core, leaving only the pulp, dried after called longan. Therefore, longan and longan are actually the same thing. Longan also has many aliases, such as intelligence, than eyes, litchi slave, sub-litchi, wood bullets, Li beads, swallow eggs, shark tears, round eyes, honey spleen, yuan eye meat and so on.

2. High-yielding cultivation techniques of longan

1. Garden selection

Although longan has certain drought resistance, it is still necessary to choose a place close to water source when planting. The soil is preferably red soil, sandy soil and yellow soil. The soil layer is deep and the ability to keep water and fertilizer is strong. This is very beneficial to the healthy growth and development of longan.

2. Seedling selection and planting

Select seedlings with developed roots, robust plants, dark green leaves and no pests. Longans can be planted in all seasons except winter. When transplanting, pay attention to the full contact between seedling roots and soil, and use sufficient root water. After planting, keep the soil moist to ensure the survival of seedlings. It is best to plant on rainy days.

3. Fertilizer and water management

The fertilization of longan includes strong flower fertilizer, strong fruit fertilizer and root topdressing. The first time of flower fertilizer growth is from late February to early March, and the second time of flower fertilizer growth is from late March to early April. The fertilizer is applied from the middle of May to the first ten days of June, before the first physiological fruit drop ends and the second physiological fruit drop begins (i.e. when the small fruit is soybean size).

In the fruit development period, too much rain, we should pay attention to timely removal of water, drought more timely irrigation moisture, to ensure the normal development of fruits.

4. Pest control

Longan diseases and insect pests are mainly: downy mildew, ghost broom disease, leaf spot disease, anthracnose, bugs, fruit borers and so on.

According to longan phenology, pest occurrence law and damage degree, determine spraying time, frequency and pesticide type, generally spray 3~5 times a year, add appropriate amount of phosphorus and potassium source pool, boron fertilizer and sea spirit biological stimulant (leaf type) at the same time, not only control pests, but also can be applied outside the root, flower and fruit protection.

As far as possible, high-efficiency and low-toxicity pesticides should be used for integrated control. Attention should also be paid to rotating pesticides for each pest control. Pesticides should not be sprayed during flowering period and organophosphorus pesticides should not be sprayed during young fruit period.
