Leek, also known as leek bud, leek white, is a common vegetable in winter. It is very popular because of its high nutritional value, various practices and friendly prices. At present, it is being planted in many areas. How is it planted? What are the planting methods?

First, the introduction of leek:

1. What is leek yellow?

Leek is also called yellow leek, and its shape, length, thickness and so on are similar to those of leek, but the leek is planted under the condition of no light, so the leek leaves change from green to yellow, and basically become leek yellow. Its cultivation method is similar to garlic yellow, all are cultivated under the condition of no light, and its leaves are yellow and white, soft and tender, and are very appetizing.

2. What are the kinds of leek?

Yellow leek No. 1, 791 snow leek king, snow leek No. 4.

Second, how does the leek grow?

Leek is planted in the absence of light conditions, which does not contain chlorophyll, but rich in vitamins, protein, carotene and other nutrients, so the nutritional value is still high. It is similar to the planting method of garlic, only after the autumn harvest of leek, buckle it up with a buckle shed and let it grow freely.

Third, what are the planting methods of leek?

1. Land selection and preparation:

Leek likes to grow in an environment with loose and fertile soil and good drainage, so when selecting land, it is best to choose loam with good drainage measures. After the land is selected, the soil 30cm should be turned deeply, and the field border with a width of about 1.4m should be made, and a small amount of base fertilizer should be applied to facilitate later planting.

2. Sowing:

The main results are as follows: (1) seed selection: there are many kinds of leek, but the varieties suitable for planting in our country are Yellow leek No. 1, 791 snow leek king and snow leek No. 4, so when selecting seeds, try to choose one of them.

(2) seed treatment: soak the seeds in warm water of 53 degrees for about 10 hours, then remove the seeds and mix them with 2 ~ 3 ‰ carbendazim dry and wet powder for use.

(3) sowing method: evenly plant the treated seeds on the seedling field, then cover the soil with 1cm or so, spray grass chemicals, and cover with plastic film. Generally, the seed amount is 2.5jin per mu and 3 square meters per two-purpose seedbed.

3. Planting:

(1) planting time: around mid-April

(2) preparation before planting: dig a field border with a width of 2.2 meters, a length of 30 meters and a distance of 1.4 meters, and irrigate a small amount of water to facilitate later planting.

(3) planting method: after sowing, bury both sides of the plastic film into the soil, when five leaves germinate, apply a small amount of urea and water.

(4) key points of colonization management:

(4.1) timely bed adjustment: after the leek yellow is planted, the bed should be adjusted timely, and when the soil is dry, ditches should be opened and watered. When the soil is watered, the soil should be turned over frequently and the air permeability should be done well to promote the growth of new roots.

(4.2) appropriate fertilization: leek yellow does not have high requirements for fertilizer, but it does not mean that there is no need for fertilizer. Generally, about 10,000 jin of farm fertilizer, 150 kg of calcium fertilizer, 20 kg of urea or 35 kg of potash fertilizer are applied per mu to ensure adequate nutrition.

(4.3) timely transplanting: when leek grows 4-5 leaves, it should be transplanted to a wide place according to reasonable density and irrigated with a small amount of water to promote its growth. When transplanting, the depth should be appropriate, lest it is too deep or too shallow, resulting in late tillering or loose pinch of leek, so when transplanting, try to determine the depth of the planting ditch according to the size of leek seedlings.

(4.4) rational use: after the leek seedlings were planted, 5% phoxim granules and 25% carbendazim wettable powder were applied to the roots, and then covered with soil to promote plant growth. Generally, 2.5 kg of medicine is used per mu, and then sprayed once 5-7 days after planting.

(4.5) rational watering: the leek seedlings should be watered reasonably after transplanting, and then the second watering should be carried out according to the degree of dryness and wetness of the border surface after the new roots grow. When watering, try to make the border surface dry and not wet, so as to facilitate the growth of new roots.

The above is the planting method of leek, I hope it will be helpful to everyone.
