Chinanews.com, Beijing, September 19 (Reporter Liu Changzhong) Zhang Hongyu, director of the Rural Economic system and Management Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of China, said that the development situation of China's agricultural enterprises has new characteristics and is facing four major changes.

Zhang Hongyu said at the 2015 International Agricultural Brand Development (Beijing) Forum held on the 19th that in recent years, the situation changes faced by Chinese agricultural enterprises come from four aspects.

First, the demand structure has undergone major changes, in the demand for agricultural products, as people meet the basic needs of agricultural products, there are new requirements for the quality and safety of agricultural products; at the same time, they begin to pursue the brand of agricultural products. People's demand for agricultural products is gradually moving forward from low-end to high-end.

Second, great changes have taken place in the competitive space. Under the background of the global economic integration and the synchronous development of the national economy, the supply and demand of China's agricultural products is located in two resources and two markets instead of one resource and one market in the past. The survival and development of Chinese agricultural enterprises, especially the promotion of competitiveness, depends on the competition between domestic and international industrial and business entities.

Third, agriculture as a basic industry, the government attaches great importance to agriculture, this orientation is consistent in all countries. From a domestic point of view, to meet the needs of the integration of global operation, China's agricultural policy still pays attention to the protection of agriculture, strengthens the existing policies of strengthening, benefiting and supporting agriculture, and emphasizes the competitiveness of agriculture in recent years. There is a place in the global agricultural competition.

Fourth, the operating environment has changed. The global economic downturn and the slowdown of international economic growth have put pressure on the healthy operation of enterprises, which is manifested in the high production costs of agriculture, lower international prices of agricultural products, and increasingly fierce competition. In the case of this competition, how to realize that there are no people without me, there are many people, there are many people, we are superior, and we have a brand, which puts forward new requirements for the development of agricultural enterprises. The changes in the internal and external environment of agricultural enterprises have not only caused pressure for the healthy development of the agricultural industry, but also brought new opportunities and challenges.

Zhang Hongyu said: agricultural enterprises have their own requirements to become bigger, stronger and stronger for a long time, and the key is to promote the docking of agricultural products with the market, realize the agricultural products from the field to the dining table, and form a complete industrial chain.

At the same time, he believes that with the development of agriculture, the traditional industries of agriculture, forestry, livestock and fishing can no longer cover all of agriculture, but also include ecological environmental protection of non-productive functions, sightseeing, tourism and leisure, cultural heritage, and so on. The next step is to develop more in the brand; to achieve the integrated development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries of agricultural enterprises.
