Hyacinth has many colors, the design color is very beautiful, hyacinth likes the sun, cold-resistant, likes to bloom in early spring, hyacinth is a kind of bulbous flowers with strong mellow fragrance, like slightly humid environment, drought resistance, hydroponic soil culture can be planted, so how to raise hyacinth? How to prolong the flowering period of hyacinth?

First, how to raise hyacinth?

1. Soil requires sandy soil.

For hyacinth, the soil should choose sandy soil with good drainage and not dry, generally with rotten leaf soil, nutrient soil, sandy soil according to the proportion of 4:2:4. In this way, the soil has a high content of organic matter and good aggregate structure, and the PH value of the soil is 6-7. If you want to increase the nutrition of organic matter, you can mix in some bone powder.

2. Humidity requirements

The humidity of cultivated soil should be maintained at about 60-70%. If the humidity is too high, the root system will rot easily, and if it is too low, the plant will wilt.

3. Temperature requirement

During the growth of hyacinth, the root growth of bulb was the best when the temperature was 2-6 ℃. The optimum temperature for bud germination is 5-10 ℃, the optimum temperature for leaf growth is 5-12 ℃, and the most favorable temperature for budding and flowering is 15-18 ℃. The storage temperature of bulb is 20-28 ℃, and the optimum storage temperature is 25 ℃, which is the most ideal for flower bud differentiation. Can withstand short-term frost.

4. Lighting requirements

Hyacinth light only needs more than 5000Lx, to control the light, too weak light can be filled with incandescent lamp at about 1 meter, but if the light is too strong, it will cause leaves and petals to burn or shorten the flowering period.

Second, how to prolong the flowering period of hyacinth?

1, supplement some vitamins, such as (21 gold vitamins) these vitamin balanced tablets, can also be smashed into powder and buried around hyacinth when it is about to blossom.

2. Hyacinth is also suitable for hydroponic culture, and the root system grows like soaking in water. But pay attention to soil moisture when soil culture, if planted in too wet soil for a long time, it may affect the growth of roots, or even rotten roots. Change the water once a week, the nutrient solution depends on the degree of turbidity, and keep the water quality in the bottle clean.

3. It is generally about 20 degrees Celsius, but it is best not to exceed 20 degrees Celsius. After the flowers bloom, try to avoid the high temperature. If there are conditions, the temperature can be controlled between 5-10 degrees Celsius, which can prolong the florescence for several days.

4. Before flowering, the plant should have sufficient direct sunlight time every day, preferably in 3-4 hours per day. After flowering, it is necessary to avoid direct sunlight, you can use astigmatism or place bright places to plant, which can effectively prolong the flowering period.
