Botrytis cinerea is a fungal disease caused by Botrytis cinerea, which belongs to the subphylum Botrytis cinerea. In addition to infecting tomato, it can also infect cucumber, pepper, eggplant, leek and other vegetable crops. Tomato flowers, fruits, leaves and stems can all be infected. What symptom does tomato gray mold have? How to treat it?

First, what are the symptoms of tomato gray mold?

The symptoms of the leaves began to occur from the leaf tip, and the disease spot developed inward in the shape of "V". At first, it was water invading, light brown, large and irregular at the edge, with the same depth of wheel lines, and a small amount of gray mold on the surface when it was wet, and finally withered. When the fruit is invaded, most of them first infect the residual flowers or stigmas and sepals, and then develop to the fruit or stalk, resulting in grayish white pericarp, soft rot, gray mildew layer on the surface of the diseased part, and mutual infection between fruits.

Second, how to treat tomato gray mold?

1. Scientific ventilation: ventilation for a short time in the early morning to discharge moisture; then close the shed to raise the temperature until noon. In the afternoon, the release time was appropriately prolonged, the humidity in the greenhouse was reduced, and the dew on the leaf surface of the plant was avoided. At the same time, reasonable close planting, timely pruning and branching, regular cleaning of greenhouse film, strengthening ventilation and light transmission.

2. Water and fertilizer management: drip irrigation or hidden irrigation under plastic film should be adopted as far as possible, irrigation should be strictly controlled, and it should be watered in the morning on sunny days. Balanced fertilization can prevent premature senescence and promote strong seedlings.

3. Real-time monitoring: diseased plants, diseased leaves and diseased fruits are found to be cleared out of the shed in time and treated centrally.

4. Chemical control methods.

Combined with dipping flowers to add drugs to prevent and cure Botrytis cinerea in proportion. For example, adding 1% of Limakang, Shijiale, Nongliling and other drugs to the prepared dipping liquid can prevent the bacteria from infecting the fruit from the decline of tomato flowers.

In the early stage of the disease, chemical spraying was used to prevent and cure the disease. You can choose 65% metalaxyl wettable powder 1000 times, 40% Shijiale suspension 1200 times, 50% Nongliling suspension 2000 times, 50% Sukeling wettable powder 1000 times, and so on. It was sprayed every 7 days for 3 or 4 times. Alternatively, 45% chlorothalonil smoke agent and 10% Sukeling smoke agent are used for fumigation, and the greenhouse should be sealed overnight after application in the evening to ensure the efficacy.

Note:

1. Operate strictly in accordance with the standards for the use of pesticides and pay attention to the rotation of drugs to avoid drug resistance.

2. When the humidity in the shed is high, fumigant should be used as far as possible.
