Coriander is an essential condiment in people's daily diet. But the market price is still relatively expensive, so how to plant coriander at home?

1. Preparation of planting containers

When planting coriander at home, you can choose a flowerpot with holes or a foam box, and choose the size of the container according to the area you plant. The container is then covered with looser, fertile soil rich in organic matter.

2. Sowing seedlings

After sowing, the seedlings can cover the surface of the bed, reduce water evaporation and reduce the temperature between the surfaces. The method is to sow the seeds evenly, cover the soil with 2 cm, and then step on them with your feet.

3. Water and fertilizer management

The temperature is lower in the early stage of coriander growth, and the watering principle is not dry, less watering in the early stage and slightly more in the late stage, so as to keep the soil moist. When the seedlings grow to 10 cm, the plants grow vigorously, and they should be watered frequently and less, keep the soil surface moist, water and apply quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer for 1-2 times, 10-15 kg per mu each time; they can also be applied outside the roots about 20 days before harvest, and urea can be selected to prepare a solution with a concentration of 1.5%, sprayed once every 7 days, and sprayed twice continuously.

4. Pest control

(1) Powdery mildew

Control methods:

① Breeding powdery mildew resistant varieties and strengthening greenhouse temperature and humidity management.

(2) After harvest, remove the diseased body in time to reduce the overwintering bacteria source.

③ At the beginning of the disease, dust method or smoke method can be selected. Spray 10% dust in the evening and light it overnight.

(2) Sclerotium disease

Disinfect soil with 40% quintozene, add a small amount of fine soil, mix well and apply to soil. In short, in the coriander, the whole growth period to strengthen the wind, reduce humidity to reduce the occurrence of disease.

(3) leaf blight and spot blight

The preventive measure is seed disinfection. The method is to soak seeds with captan or carbendazim 500 times solution for 10~15min, wash them clean and sow them. At ordinary times, attention should be paid to ventilation and moisture discharge. In case of disease, timely spraying should be used for prevention and control. 600~800 times solution of carbendazim, 600 times solution of mancozeb and 70% methyl should be used.

Topzin 800~1000 times solution, chlorothalonil 500 times solution, more than two kinds of mixed use effect is better.

However, the above is from a more professional point of view to plant coriander, if you do not have too much requirements for the quality of coriander, do not have too much attention, usually pay attention to watering amount fertilization is good.
