Flammulina velutipes is a kind of edible mushroom cultivated in autumn, winter and early spring. it is famous for its slippery cover, crisp handle, rich nutrition and delicious taste. It not only has good edible value, but also has high medicinal value, so it is favored by people. So how do you grow Flammulina velutipes at home? The following methods may be worth a try.

1. Strain selection

Strains with good characters and strong resistance should be selected, such as white Flammulina velutipes Jin 18-1, F81, yellow Flammulina velutipes Jin 851, Jin 19 and so on.

2. Strain production

The first-grade culture material was sterilized with PDA rejuvenation medium under high pressure (121kg / square centimeter, 121kg / square centimeter) for 30 minutes, slanted and cooled, and then inoculated under aseptic condition. When the mycelium grew all over the slant, the mycelium grew healthily and neatly.

Secondary species culture materials with cotton seed bran, wheat bran, supplemented by qualified gypsum and other ingredients, with 500ml canned bottles, after high temperature and high pressure (128℃, 1.5kg / square centimeter pressure) sterilization 1.0-1.5 hours, after cooling with prepared first-class species inoculated under sterile conditions, and then at 25 ℃ constant temperature dark light culture for 25 days mycelium full bottle, remove pollution and poor growth of retention.

3. Who is expected to cultivate

Flammulina velutipes cultivated with clinker refers to the cultivation method of inoculating Flammulina velutipes under aseptic condition by sterilizing the culture material under normal pressure or high pressure. This method has a high success rate and produces mushrooms neatly.

The cultivation materials are corncob, cottonseed husk, sawdust (broad-leaved tree), wheat bran, gypsum, white ash, salt and so on. The following formulations can be selected for application in production:

100kg corncob, 100kg cottonseed husk, 50kg wheat bran, 10kg cornmeal, 5kg gypsum, 4kg white ash, 1kg salt.

4. Bagging and sterilization

Choose plastic bags that are 15cm wide and 33cm long to produce mushrooms at one end, or plastic bags 15cm 17cm wide and 55cm long to produce mushrooms at both ends. When bagging, it is compacted while loading, and the two ends are tied into a living knot with string. Sterilized under high pressure or atmospheric pressure according to conventional methods.

5. Scratching bacteria

Scratching bacteria is to remove the old bacteria seed block and skin, it is best to use flat scratching method, so that the material surface is not hurt, the mushroom comes out early, and the number is more. Bud induction should be carried out in time after scratching bacteria, the temperature should be controlled at 12-13 ℃, and enough low temperature stimulation should be given to promote the formation of primordium. At first, the relative humidity of the air was maintained at 90%-95%, so that the hyphae could resume growth after scratching the bacteria.

6. Mushroom production management

The management procedure of the mushroom emergence period of the cultivation bag in the whole period is to untie the bag mouth → turn the bag mouth → stack film → ventilation moisturizing bud → lift film ventilation 1 day → film elongation → harvest → scratch bacteria irrigation → heat preservation and moisturizing buds. The management method is the same as before, until 4 stubble mushrooms are harvested.

In the cultivation bag of half-stage bacteria, young mushrooms are formed at both ends after the hyphae are full of half of the bag during the culture period. At this time, the bag should be moved into the cultivation field according to the management method of bacteria in the whole period.

Thus it can be seen that it is troublesome to grow Flammulina velutipes at home, there are a lot of equipment to buy, and need to pay attention to control places, but those who are interested can still try!
