Pea is a regular customer on people's table, and many growers will grow peas. So do you know how to grow peas? Next, the editor of Tuliu.com will take you to learn about it. We grow peas scientifically.

First, sowing time

1. Since peas can be planted in all seasons, vegetable growers can flexibly control the sowing date according to the season and determine the appropriate sowing date according to the time requirements of pods.

2. Peas are plants that can be planted in all seasons. But there are also fixed months suitable for planting in the four seasons: autumn sunshade net cultivation from August to October, autumn open field cultivation from late eighty to October, greenhouse film planting from October to February, November winter open field planting to January of the following year, spring open field cultivation from February to April, summer open field cultivation from June, and summer shade net cultivation from mid-May to mid-June and early July.

2. Planting density

Zhongwan No. 4 and No. 6 are dwarf varieties with a plant height of 40 to 50 cm, which is suitable for close planting. The sowing distance in spring, summer and autumn is 35, and the distance between holes is ten, with three seeds per hole, and the number of seeds is about ten kilograms. In winter, the row spacing is 40, the hole spacing is 15 cm, three grains per hole, and the seed consumption of 667 square meters is about 7kg.

III. Fertilizer and water management

1. Fertilization

Choose fields with good soil fertility, convenient irrigation and drainage, and plenty of light. Apply 667 square meters of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizer 30 to 40 kilograms as base fertilizer, and apply a certain amount of organic fertilizer. In the flowering and pod stage, 667 square meters of urea 10 kg or human and animal fertilizer 1000 kg were applied to promote pod growth. In the later stage of growth, a mixture of 0.5% urea solution and 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be used for root fertilization.

2. Watering

Although peas are deep-rooted crops and are more drought-tolerant, they should be watered in time when they see the soil dry. Especially during flowering and pod formation, plants are particularly sensitive to water and should be replenished in time. In addition, peas in summer should pay more attention to timely water supply to meet the water needs of plant growth and development, but also effectively reduce the surface temperature and promote their normal growth.

Above is the pea planting technology, hope to have some help to the growers, if there is anything you do not know can comment below, the editor will reply to you in time. Remember to share likes.
