Second, how to grow ice vegetables?

1. Planting preparation

The seeds of ice cabbage are very small, and its arch soil ability is weak, and it often germinates or cannot be unearthed because the soil is too hard, resulting in rotten seeds, so it is necessary to choose a good soil before planting, requiring the soil to be soft, breathable and moisturized. only in this way can the soil be suitable for the growth of ice cabbage, and the seedling substrate can also be installed in a seedling tray to raise seedlings, and the seedling substrate can be made of coconut brick-based nutrient soil.

2. Sowing and raising seedlings

Soak the seeds in warm water of about 30 degrees for 2-4 hours before sowing, sow 2-3 seeds in each hole when sowing, and sow 2-3 seeds on 9cm if it is a seedling tray. Similarly, 2-3 seeds should be covered with a layer of 3-5 mm fine soil after sowing, which should not be too deep, otherwise it will affect its normal germination and keep the temperature at about 20 degrees after sowing. It should not be too high or too low. It is necessary to strengthen ventilation at high temperature and lower the ambient temperature of seedlings, so that seedlings will sprout soon. Generally, they can be transplanted and planted 20-40 days after sowing or when the seedlings grow 4-5 leaves.

3. Transplanting

When transplanting seedlings, we should be careful not to damage the roots of seedlings, and the time of transplanting should also be paid attention to, not in rainy days or high temperature periods, so as not to affect the survival rate of transplanting. We should dig holes in the planting area, control the row spacing of plants at 20 × 30cm per hole, cover the soil after transplanting, pour slow seedling water once, not too much, and then control the temperature at about 25 degrees.

4. Field management

Ice vegetable is suitable for growth temperature between 20-30 degrees, and is more sensitive to high temperature, so in summer, we should pay attention to the measures of shading and avoiding sun, lest strong light burn it normally, lead to death, strengthen ventilation, reduce the temperature of planting land, and ice cabbage is more resistant to drought. so when watering, it is not suitable to water too much, when the soil surface is dry, ice vegetables grow very fast in the middle and later stage, and a large area can grow in a very short time.
