Sweet pepper has high nutritional value, and the color is gorgeous, very good-looking, fried in the dish can increase the appetite of the dish, the market prospect is broad. So, what is the cultivation method of sweet pepper? Let's find out together!

1. Soil preparation and fertilization

Before sowing, we need to carry out soil preparation first. Sweet pepper is more suitable for planting in sandy soil with fertile soil containing more organic matter. Of course, loess or black soil can also be selected. Secondly, the soil viscosity should not be too large, especially the soil that cannot be drained in case of rainfall. When preparing soil, we should first evenly spread a layer of livestock manure, then fill the potholes in the field, and make the soil fine. Finally, according to the width of 60 cm, 30 cm high to do ridging, you can wait for sowing.

2. Sowing seedlings

Under normal circumstances, sweet peppers need to be sown first and then transplanted. Because the growth speed of sweet peppers is different, unified seedling cultivation is beneficial to our later field. Before seedling cultivation, seeds need to be germinated with warm water. The water temperature cannot be higher than 50 degrees Celsius. After soaking for about one day, they are taken out and washed with clean water. They are placed in a suitable environment for germination. Generally, they can be sown in about three to five days. When sowing, first wet the seedbed, then sprinkle the seeds evenly, then cover them with a layer of organic manure, and finally cover them with a layer of plastic film to keep them warm and moist.

3. Reasonable planting

Under normal circumstances, seedlings will emerge in about five days, and then when the sweet pepper seedlings grow to about 15 cm, we can transplant them. We will dig out the cultivated sweet pepper seedlings together with the soil, which can improve the survival rate. Then we will plant them at a distance of about 30 cm between each row and 25 to 30 cm between each plant. If the temperature is low after planting, plastic film can be used for heat preservation. Secondly, we need to water them after planting. This is good for its root growth.

4. Field management

About one week after planting, we should observe the growth of sweet pepper in the field. If there is a lack of seedlings or dead seedlings, we should timely supplement the seedlings for planting. About seven to ten days after planting, we need to carry out the first intertillage and weeding together with fertilization. This fertilization is to promote the growth of sweet pepper seedlings. Therefore, it is generally necessary to use excreta and urine and add appropriate urea for irrigation. Before the sweet pepper enters the flowering period, it is also necessary to carry out a weeding and weeding. After entering the flowering stage, the second fertilization is carried out, mainly potassium fertilizer and phosphorus fertilizer, which are carried out by spraying. Finally, when the sweet pepper has the size of a thumb, appropriate foliar fertilizer is required to be sprayed. Each fertilization must be combined with watering, which is beneficial to nutrient absorption and dilution of nutrient concentration, so that the sweet pepper can grow better.

The above is the sweet pepper planting method introduction, hope to help you grow households!
