Fugui bamboo, also known as longevity bamboo and Yinbian bamboo, is a foliage plant with high ornamental value. Generally speaking, it is a kind of plant placed in the study. So how to plant rich bamboo? Next, the editor of Tuliu.com will tell you.

I. Botanical characteristics

As a commercial ornamental, the cultivation height is 80~100cm, it is suitable for cultivation in the garden, like shade and dampness, and the stems and leaves are thick. Its varieties have green leaves, green leaves, white edges (called silver edges), green leaves, yellow edges (called Phnom Penh), green leaves, silver hearts (called silver hearts), green leaves and rich bamboos, also known as Phyllostachys pubescens, its leaves are dark green, growing vigorously, and cultivation is more extensive.

Planting rich bamboo has the advantages of high yield and high economic benefit. 667m2 can plant 1.8 ~ 25000 plants, and the annual output value of 667m2 can reach 30 ~ 50 000 yuan. The cultivation of rich bamboo begins in spring and can be harvested in mid-late December. The variety has rough management and can be cultivated in sloping fields with loose and fertile soil. Water cultivation is easy to live, and it is generally used for family vase or pot cultivation. Fugui bamboo is thick and long, tall and straight stems, thick green leaves, evergreen in winter and summer, no matter planting or cutting stems in bottles or processing "open bamboo" and "curved bamboo", they all appear to be sparse and noble, with slender stems and leaves, soft and elegant, chic posture and rich bamboo rhyme, especially the "tower" shape spread from Taiwan, also known as "open bamboo", which is of high ornamental value and is very popular in the international market.

2. Main points of cultivation of Fugui Bamboo

1. Land selection

Because Fugui bamboo is an ornamental plant that likes shade and humidity, in order to accelerate its growth, shorten the production cycle and create better economic benefits, it is necessary to choose paddy fields with convenient drainage and irrigation, loose and fertile soil, or hydroponic culture.

2. Fine soil preparation and reasonable close planting

During soil preparation, the border height is 15-20cm, the width is only 120-150cm, and the furrow is 25cm. 667m2 applied 1500k mature farm manure, fully raked flat and then planted seedlings. The planting specification was 25cmx16cm or 20cmx16cm. 667m2 could plant 15-20 000 plants. Generally, it should not be too dense. The planting depth should be 2.5-3.5cm (that is, 4 seedling nodes and 2 nodes) to keep a proper space for ventilation and light transmission.

3. Scientific fertilization

After 20 days of planting, the plant began to penetrate new roots, and 667m2 could be drenched with 1500-2000kg once. After 30 and 40 days, according to the growth of seedlings, topdressing and compound fertilizer 15-20kg were applied once, and the soil was cultivated after application. When the plant grows to 35-45cm high, the need for nutrients also increases, which is the initial stage of plant growth. Therefore, it is appropriate to re-apply topdressing in this period, at the same time, it can be combined with spraying extra-root fertilizer, spraying with plant auxins such as new branch cord or spray treasure, in order to promote growth balance, thick leaves and stems, and improve stress resistance.

4. Pay attention to drainage and irrigation and prevention and control.

When planting rich bamboo, you should pay attention to drainage in rainy days, prevent early in early days, prevent frost in cold days, and pay attention to irrigating horse water in the early days to keep the field border wet. In the rich bamboo fields covered with sunshade net, the adults of Coleoptera are more difficult to fly into the spawning and reproduce, so there are fewer insect pests. So far, only a small amount of drillworms have been found and no diseases have been found. From early March to 12 Zhongxiadian harvest, only two insecticides can be sprayed.
