The seedlings of Rhizoma thunbergii were planted 1.5-17000 per mu. Transplant according to the row spacing of 15 × 625cm, open the ditch horizontally on the border surface, 4~150cm the depth of the ditch, place the seedlings according to the planting specifications, be sure to place the tip of the terminal bud upward, and cover the previous trench with the soil that opened the second trench, and so on. After sowing, cover the border with pine needles or straw with a thickness of no exposed soil, which plays the role of heat preservation, moisturizing and weed control. After planting, pour the root water thoroughly, and then water it according to the soil moisture to keep the soil moist.

Conditions for planting heavy buildings:

1. Geographical environment

Wild heavy buildings grow in valleys, streams and shady wetlands under broad-leaved forests at an altitude of 700 to 1100 meters above sea level.

two。 Soil condition

The heavy building is most suitable to grow in permeable slightly acidic humus soil or fertile sandy soil, but not in alkaline soil or clay, and the soil with heavy stickiness, easy accumulation of water and consolidation is not suitable for planting.

3. Moisture condition

Heavy buildings like cool, wet, moderate moisture environment, afraid of both drought and stagnant water, soil water content is too low, easy to cause water loss of stems and leaves, root system dry and die, while too high is prone to diseases and insect pests, roots rot.

4. Temperature condition

The plant of Rhizoma thunbergii is cold-tolerant and cold-free. The temperature from late February to early March is 5 ℃, and even the lowest temperature is 2 ℃. When the temperature is 1: 2 ℃, the suitable temperature for seed germination, root growth and terminal bud germination is 18 ℃ ~ 20 ℃, 20 ℃ for emergence, 16 ℃ ~ 20 ℃ for aboveground plant growth and 14 ℃ ~ 18 ℃ for underground rhizome growth.

5. Light condition

Chong Lou is a shade-loving plant, likes oblique or astigmatism, avoids strong light, and growth requires shading environment, strong light will wither leaves, generally seed germination and seedling stage require better shading, and two years before maturity, it is necessary to reduce shading and increase light, which is beneficial to the accumulation of secondary metabolites and dry matter.
