Pot planting should first choose tree species, just to be on the safe side, you can choose local varieties. Then decide whether to plant the seeds from the beginning, and the trees should have the stage of rooting and growing before pruning and pruning, and the time required varies from tree species to tree species. Pay attention to the maintenance and pruning of potted plants in the four seasons.

1. Select tree species

If you want to grow outdoors, as long as you make sure that the potted plant can grow well in the planting area, deciduous plants such as Chinese or Japanese elm, magnolia, oak, crabapple and so on are good choices. If you want to grow indoors, you can plant tropical varieties, such as emerald, ferry color, olive trees and so on.

2. Seed planting

Soak the seeds overnight with water before planting, and the planting soil should ensure good drainage and nutrients suitable for pot growth. Plant trees in a culture container. Note that the pot should be provided with the right amount of light, water and a constant temperature depending on the variety.

3. Maintenance of the four seasons

Winter trees hibernate, do not grow leaves and do not grow, so do not need to provide too much nutrition, watering on time. Since they don't need new leaves to replace old ones with poor nutrients before spring, they don't need pruning either. Trees use the nutrients stored in winter to grow new leaves in spring. During this period, trees are in a transitional period, which is a good opportunity for transplanting and pruning. Trees use stored nutrients to continue to grow in summer and need to be watered on time. Trees grow slowly in autumn and nutrients begin to accumulate again, when they can be pruned and transplanted.
