Horticultural varieties of eustoma:

1. Balboa series:

The "Balboa" series performed well and showed very high market competitiveness. This series grows faster, has more petals, is 100-150cm tall, and blooms in long days and warmer spring and summer. Planting experiments showed that the "Balboa" series was very suitable for field cut flower production, and it took 11-13 weeks from transplanting to harvest. The average length of flower stems can reach 50cm, and each plant can grow 31 flowers and produce 4 cut flowers. The colors are blue, with blue edges and blue halos.

2. Catalina series:

The Catalina series blooms under long days and hot summer conditions, with larger flowers, stronger stems and plant heights of 100-115cm. The time from transplanting to harvest was 11-13 weeks. The colors are blue and yellow.

3. Flamenco series:

This series is suitable for long days, hot summer production. It performs well in Maryland, where the flower stems are long and robust. The colors are blue, pink and white with shades.

4. "Malibu" series:

Spring and autumn are suitable for flowering of this series, and summer production is not ideal. The time from transplantation to harvest is 11 - 12 weeks, and the colors are lavender, dark blue, blue edge and rose.

Platycodon grandiflorum is a flowering plant that likes a warm and humid environment. Its natural flowering period is from May to July, so it is necessary to pay attention to moisture and temperature when maintaining it. In addition, it is best to ensure that it has longer sunshine, which helps stem growth and flower bud formation.
