Growth environment:

Sexual like high temperature, suitable temperature 22-30 degrees, altitude below 1000 meters are suitable for cultivation, belong to drought-resistant and stable crops. It is native to China and is widely planted in northern China.

Distribution:

Widely cultivated in the temperate and tropical regions of Eurasia, the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River in China are the main cultivation areas, and a small number of plants are also planted in other areas. The type specimen is from India.

The sowing method of millet:

There are three commonly used: first, sowing, which is characterized by the simultaneous completion of trenching, seeding and soil covering in one operation. The seed is uniform, the depth of soil cover is the same, and the soil moisture is less. The second is to plough and sow, pull the plough with livestock, open ditches, sow seeds with special tools, and then cover the soil, which has the advantage that farm manure can be used at the same time. Third, machine sowing, machine sowing has the advantages of uniform seed, good soil moisture conservation, high work efficiency, straight line and so on. In order to increase the seedling emergence rate, it is required to sow seeds evenly, do not miss sowing, keep ridges, and the same depth, and suppress in time after sowing. Serious spring drought and poor soil moisture can increase the number of suppressions.
