The cultivation of white mushrooms requires the construction of mushroom sheds, the management of mushroom sheds, the proportion of raw materials, the selection of suitable varieties and the timely adjustment of environmental quality after sowing. White mushrooms have higher requirements for environmental temperature. After sowing, the surrounding sanitation should be cleaned up, and timely ventilation should be used to prevent and control diseases and insect pests.

Post-sowing management of white mushroom

1. First spread a layer of 3 cm thick fresh wheat straw on the mushroom bed in the greenhouse, and then spread the fermented culture material evenly on the mushroom bed. Then potassium permanganate plus formaldehyde fumigation disinfection, 24 hours after opening the doors and windows difficult ventilation. Sow seeds when the material temperature drops below 28 °C, using a 500 ml bottle of bacteria per square meter. Sprinkle the bacteria evenly on the material surface, gently compact and flatten it, so that the bacteria should sink into the material about 2 centimeters.

2. Close the doors and windows properly within 3 days after sowing, and keep the air humidity about 80%, so as to promote the germination of the strain. About 15 days after sowing, the soil was covered when the hyphae basically covered the material layer.

Soil covering method: it is better to choose the soil with good water absorption, aggregate structure, many pores, wet and non-sticky, dry and non-dispersed. First mix in lime powder, then infiltrate the soil with formaldehyde aqueous solution, wait for hands to grasp non-sticky, pick up into a ball, scatter and cover.

3. Adjust the moisture after covering the soil to keep the water content of the soil layer at about 20%. The humidity of the covered space should be kept at 80%-90%, and the temperature should be 13-20 °C (the optimum temperature is 15-18 °C). Spraying water timely according to the dry and wet condition of the soil layer and strictly controlling the temperature and humidity is the key to the high quality and high yield of Pleurotus ostreatus.
