Blueberry seeds are very small, so we need to use toothpicks to pull them out. Then wash the seeds in shallow water to remove the residual pulp. After soaking the seed with gibberellin, it can be used to sow seeds after breaking its dormancy.

two。 Selection of matrix

Blueberry seeds are not suitable for sowing in ordinary soil, it is best to sow them on fresh and clean water moss.

After transplanting, it is necessary to choose the substrate with PH at 4. 0-5. 5, and ensure that it contains a certain amount of rotten leaves.

3. The method of sowing

Before sowing, first prepare a comfortable container for blueberries. Choose a box about the depth of 8cm and put fresh and moist water moss in it.

After that, spread the seeds evenly on the water moss, and pay attention to sprinkling a little more at this time, first, because its germination rate is really not high, and second, because you have to transplant after that.

Then put a layer of plastic wrap or newspaper on the box to keep the humidity inside. Be careful to punch a few small holes in the plastic wrap or newspaper. This is to facilitate the breathing of the seed and help it germinate.

It takes about a month for the seed to germinate, during which time it should be placed in an environment of 16 ℃-21 ℃ and watered in time to keep the moss moist.

4. Transplanting method

When the young plant grows to 5-8cm and grows a few true leaves, it can be removed from the water moss and planted in the selected culture medium.

First, you need to prepare a flowerpot with a good substrate, with a diameter of about 30cm. Wet the matrix by soaking in a basin. Then dig a small hole in it with a shovel, about 5-10cm. After that, the young plants are taken out of the water moss container and transplanted into the pit. Be careful not to let the roots of the young plants be damaged, that is, their roots should not be exposed to the air. After putting it away, bury the plant with excess matrix and compact it so that the root of the plant is close to the medium. Finally, pour some water to give the young plants a better development environment. When the plant grows up, it can be changed and transplanted again according to the specific situation.
