Cultivation techniques of Pleurotus ostreatus

1. Material matching

Formula 1: cottonseed shell 40%, sawdust 38%, wheat bran 20%, sugar 1%, calcium carbonate 1%, water content 65%; formula 2: cottonseed shell 80%, wheat bran 18%, sugar 1%, calcium carbonate 1%, water content 65%.

2. Sterilization

After the culture material is fully mixed, it can be packed into a low-pressure polyethylene bag with a folding diameter of 15-17 cm and a length of 33 cm. The material is packed to about 3x5, then the material is pressed and flattened, and then the mouth (or ring) is fastened. 100℃ steam sterilization for 8-10 hours.

3. Inoculation

After inoculation in the inoculation box or inoculation room, each bottle was inoculated with about 40 bags. After inoculation, the mouth of the bag was re-tied and transferred to the culture room for bacteria management.

4. Mushroom production

After the mycelium is full, it can enter the management of mushroom production. First open the mouth of the bag, clean the material surface, then spray water to moisturize the bag without causing stagnant water in the bag; increase ventilation and light transmission, and begin to produce mushrooms after 8-10 days. After the first tide was collected, the bacteria were cultured for 2-3 days and then humidified and managed, the second tide mushroom could be formed in about two weeks.

5. Harvest

When the fruiting body grows until the fungus cover is nearly flattened, the lid edge becomes thinner and has a little inner roll, it is harvested and listed in time.
