Planting technology of ginseng

Ginseng is suitable for planting in sandy loam and humus loam which is rich in organic matter and good permeability. You can sow seeds in the first or middle of April, make beds before sowing, sow seeds on them, and cover 3-4 cm of soil after sowing. Keep the soil moist, emerge about the first ten days of May, and transplant before overwintering buds germinate. 3. Management: the suitable temperature for the growth of ginseng is 3-15 ℃, and the temperature control should be done at ordinary times. The demand for light is not much, but it can not be without a little light. Keep the soil moist, sprinkle water in case of drought and drain during the rainy season. Fertilization began in the second year of transplanting, with fully mature organic fertilizer. Loosen the soil and weed 3-5 times a year to prevent soil consolidation. Ginseng usually blossoms for 3 years, flowering for 5-6 months, and all buds are picked before flowering.
