There are many kinds of vegetables suitable for out-of-season cultivation in high mountains, such as Chinese cabbage, kale, celery, cauliflower, radish, carrot, tomato, pepper, green beans and so on. The elevation of the mountain area which is suitable for alpine out-of-season vegetable cultivation is generally more than 800 meters in our city.

(2) cultivation in heat preservation facilities. This is the cultivation technique of cold-afraid vegetables in the cold season. The main thermal insulation facilities are: ① plastic greenhouse, ② plastic arch shed, ③ plastic film cover, ④ electric hotbed. The cultivation of thermal insulation facilities in our city is mainly for the early listing of some vegetables in early spring and the postponement of supply in late autumn. The vegetables listed early are: hollow vegetables, cucumbers, eggplant, sweet peppers, string beans, edamame beans, agaric vegetables and so on. The delayed supply also includes autumn and winter cucumbers, late autumn tomatoes, string beans, cowpeas, sweet peppers and so on.

(3) cultivation techniques of sunshade net. Sunshade net is a new type of covering material, which has different braiding density according to the requirement of light transmittance. Black sunshade net is generally used. Covering vegetables with it can cover the sun, prevent wind, prevent rainstorm and increase the humidity of the garden, so it is helpful to overcome the adverse effects of strong light, rainstorm and high temperature on vegetable production in summer and autumn, and to increase the variety of vegetables in hot seasons. improve quality and meet people's needs.
