Planting method of strawberry seedlings

First, planting time

Generally speaking, strawberry seedlings are suitable for planting from late September to early October in autumn. Because the climate is relatively suitable during this period, the seedlings can grow better after planting. In addition, if it is planted in a greenhouse in the northern region, the planting time can be advanced to August, which can increase the number of harvests and thus increase the yield.

II. Planting methods

1. Soil selection: if it is planted on the ground, the location where the soil is relatively soft and has certain fertility should be chosen as the planting site. If it is a potted plant, it is recommended to prepare the soil with three parts of garden soil, two parts of rotten leaf soil and one part of fine sand.

2. Seedling selection: when planting, it is appropriate to choose healthy and disease-free seedlings with luxuriant branches and leaves and relatively developed roots. This kind of seedling has a good appearance and a high survival rate.

3. Planting: dig the planting hole in the selected flower soil, then plant the seedlings slowly into the soil, and fill the pit with the remaining soil, so that all the roots are not in the soil.

4. Later stage management: after planting, the temperature should be controlled between 18-28 ℃. When it is found that the soil has become dry, water should be supplied in time. When the light is too strong, it should be shaded in time. So they can grow up gradually.
