It is better to cultivate three-leaf plum in sandy soil which is rich in humus, loose, fertile and permeable. In addition to the seedlings on the new pot should first be placed in the semi-shade, usually should be placed in a sunny place, keep the temperature above 5 ℃. Control watering before flowering, return to normal watering after flowering; proper fertilization during the growing period, application of rotten fertilizer, the concentration should be light. Change the basin once a year, preferably when the soil is relatively dry.

First, the culture method of three-leaf plum

1. Soil: it is better to use sandy soil rich in humus, loose, fertile and permeable, and avoid using clay.

2. Lighting: except for the seedlings newly placed in the pot, they should be placed in a semi-shaded place and in a sunny place for the rest of the time.

3. Temperature: the suitable temperature for growth is 15-30 ℃, and the temperature should be maintained at no less than 5 ℃ in winter.

4. Watering: control watering before flowering, grasp the principle of "no dry, no watering", wait until the potted soil is dry and the branches and leaves are soft before watering. Until flowers grow in the axils of its leaves, and then return to normal watering.

5. Fertilization: proper fertilization should be carried out during the growing period, fertilizer should be mature, fertilization should be a small amount for many times, and the concentration should be light. Do not apply fertilizer during the water control period, so as not to burn the root system.

6. Pruning: we should grasp the principle of "short, heavy and sparse", that is, cut short horizontal branches, re-cut new branches, and remove dense and weak branches. It is generally pruned before germination in March to April or before the growth of new branches after flower blossoms in November to December.

7. Change the basin: the basin needs to be changed once a year, and it is best to change it in spring and autumn.

Matters needing attention in culturing three-leaf plum

When changing the basin, it is best to change the basin when the soil is relatively dry, not after watering; it is best to remove half or 1/3 of the original soil, do not let its roots be scattered, if you have no experience, do not clean up all the flower soil.
