Choose soil that is acidic and well breathable. Camellias need light, but can not be exposed to direct sunlight. When the sun is strong, it is most suitable for camellias to grow in 18-25 ℃. Water once a day in spring and autumn to maintain a certain amount of air humidity. Fertilization should be light rather than heavy, light rather than dense, less and less rather than more.

Cultivation techniques of Camellia

1. Soil: Camellia is suitable for acid soil with loose and good drainage, and calcareous soil must not be used.

2. Watering: watering should be sufficient and thoroughly when new to the basin, and the amount of water can be determined according to the weather, as long as the soil remains moist; more watering can be appropriate in summer to meet its germination needs; summer watering is best in the morning or evening; pay attention to drainage in the rainy season to avoid stagnant water.

3, fertilization: Camellia do not like fertilizer, so do not need too much fertilizer, generally use mixed fertilizer, mainly phosphate fertilizer, nitrogen fertilizer can also be used, fertilizer should be fully mature to use, more fertilizer when strong, less fertilizer or no fertilizer when weak seedlings.

4. It likes a warm and humid environment, and it should be given enough light in spring and plum rain season to prevent the branches from becoming weak.
