Tomatoes have less stringent requirements on soil conditions, and fertile loam rich in organic matter grows well in deep soil layer, good drainage and rich organic matter. The suitable pH of soil is pH6-7.

3. Fertilizer application

Before planting tomatoes, fully mature organic fertilizer should be applied to provide nutrition during the whole growth period; there is generally no topdressing after planting to before fruit setting. When the first group of fruits began to expand, it was combined with topdressing while watering, and then the amount of potash fertilizer should be increased during the expansion of the second and third groups of fruits.
