The planting method of tomato

Tomatoes are planted by sowing seeds. The seeds should be treated before sowing. There are three ways of sowing: sowing, strip sowing and on demand. The sowing time is determined by region, environment, climate and other factors.

Tomato planting steps:

1. Put the seeds in 55 °C hot water, stir to 30 °C and soak for 3-4 hours.

4. The suitable sowing time is from early February to late April, which can be planted or directly seeded, and the sowing amount is mainly based on seed size and planting density, per 667m2 cultivation area, 20-30g for seedling planting and 100g for direct seeding.

5. The seeds can be sown when more than 70% of the seeds are white. Before sowing, the seedling bed is watered with enough water and wet to the deep 10cm of the bed soil. After the water is oozed, sprinkle a thin layer of nutritious soil, level the bed surface, and then spread evenly. After sowing, cover the nutritious soil with 0.8-1.0cm, then use 50% carbendazim wettable powder 8g or 50% seed powder 7g per 667m2 seedbed, mix with fine soil and sprinkle evenly on the bed to prevent sudden disease.

Tomatoes are produced from January to May of each year, and the peak period is from October to December. Friends who like to eat tomatoes should not miss it.
