Points for attention in growing spinach in greenhouse:

1. Planting time

In the spring, choose to sow seeds in the middle of March. The temperature change in summer is obvious, so it is best to plant it in batches so that the yield will be a little higher. The first batch can be planted at the beginning of May, the second batch at the end of June, and the third batch in early July, which will make them grow more vigorously. The temperature in autumn is very good, so it can be sown throughout the season. Winter can only be planted in November, otherwise it is easy to freeze spinach seedlings to death. So each season has a different planting time, we must grasp it.

two。 Planting variety

The selection of planting varieties varies from season to season. High temperature in summer, we need to choose varieties that can resist high temperature and drought; in winter, we need to choose varieties with strong cold resistance; autumn is generally the high incidence period of some diseases, so the seeds we sow at this time should choose those that are more resistant to disease; Rain Water is relatively sufficient in spring, so we should choose spinach varieties that are resistant to water and aging.

3. Timely harvest

Spinach should be harvested in time, otherwise it will affect the production of the next crop. It should be watered a day or two before harvest. When there is more dew on the leaves in the morning, you can cut them off at the root with a knife. Then remove the old leaves and yellow leaves, and tie them into small handfuls with some rope.

In addition, attention should be paid to the prevention and control of aphids, leaf miners, anthracnose and downy mildew during planting. Do a good job of prevention in advance to avoid the occurrence of diseases and insect pests as far as possible.
