First of all, the zucchini seeds with early maturity, excellent varieties and fast growth were selected and planted according to the density of 800-1000 plants per mu. Slow seedling water should be applied after planting, and fertilization should be carried out according to different growth stages, mainly organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer. Since then, we should do a good job in temperature management, pruning of hanging vines and prevention and control of diseases and insect pests.

When growing zucchini in greenhouse, you should pay attention to:

1. Planting time

The early spring stubble can be planted 20-30 days earlier than cucumber. From December to January, it is suitable for planting from late January to early February, listing in mid-late March, pulling seedlings in early June, sowing in late August in autumn and winter, planting in late September and harvesting in early November. It can be delayed until late April of the following year.

two。 Temperature and humidity regulation

During the slow seedling period of planting zucchini, the temperature in the greenhouse should be kept high, 25 ℃-30 ℃ during the day and 18 ℃-20 ℃ at night; after slowing down the seedling, the temperature should be cooled properly, 25 ℃ during the day and 12 ℃-15 ℃ at night; after sitting on the melon, the temperature should be increased appropriately, 25 ℃-28 ℃ during the day and 15 ℃ at night; during the cold period of the deep winter, the temperature should be kept at 28 ℃-30 ℃ at noon to prevent the night temperature from being too low. After the cold winter, increase the ventilation rate and restore the temperature management standard before the severe winter.

The regulation of humidity and gas should be combined with the management of temperature. The measures such as ventilation and cooling, using no dripping film and covering plastic film during planting can obviously reduce the humidity in the greenhouse. Timely discharge of harmful gases in the shed is conducive to the exchange of carbon dioxide outside the shed.

3. Pest control

In addition to selecting disease-resistant varieties, it is also necessary to spray insecticides reasonably and make use of the avoidance of pests for control.

When zucchini meets the requirements of commercial melons, it should be harvested at the right time. Be careful not to damage the main vine when picking.
