The origin of Clematis
Clematis is produced in Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Hubei and other places. Among them, "Mingxi Clematis" is registered and protected by the measures for the Management of Geographical indications of Agricultural products. The scope of origin protection is 56 administrative villages in 9 townships of Xuefeng Town, Hanxian Town, Hufang Town, Gaiyang Town, Xiayang Township, Shaxi Township, Xiafang Township, Fengxi Township and Chengguan Township in Mingxi County, Fujian Province.
Clematis is a plant of the genus Cymbidium of Orchidaceae, the plant is wrinkled and curled, irregular dry whole grass. The rhizome is cylindrical, curved, brown on the surface, obvious in stem nodes, with golden reticular veins; the leaves are curled and complete, spreading into a wide ovate, black-brown on the surface, dark red below, and some leaf veins purplish red; peanuts are in the axils of the leaves, with yellow, red, milky white and other colors.
Anoectochilus roxburghii can be used as medicine. It has the effects of clearing heat and cooling blood, dispelling wind and dampness, detoxification, relieving pain, relieving cough and so on. It mainly treats difficult diseases such as hemoptysis, bronchitis, glomerulonephritis, cystitis, diabetes, hematuria, rheumatoid arthritis tumor and so on.
