Select the land with fertile land and good drainage and irrigation, and plant it after soil preparation, disinfection and fertilization. The density and depth of strawberry seedlings should be determined according to the planting area and soil fertility. After the planting is completed, the roots are fully watered, and then watered every 5-7 days to ensure that the soil is moist. Finally, do a good job in the management of temperature and fertilization.

Winter strawberry planting should pay attention to:

1. Temperature

The root growth temperature of strawberries is between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius, and the greenhouse needs to be sealed during the winter, especially in the north, but it should be noted that the air needs to be changed regularly after the greenhouse is sealed to let oxygen into the room. Strawberries end their blooming in November, when the appropriate temperature is between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius, so that the temperature can be maintained to benefit its fruit.

two。 Daily management

After strawberries are cultivated in the greenhouse, three times of ploughing and loosening the soil are needed to speed up the decomposition of organic matter and help strawberries absorb good nutrients as soon as possible. In the early flowering stage of strawberries, topdressing is needed, 10 kg of urea per mu is applied, and 10 kg per mu of urea is applied again in the fruit setting period.

3. Variety selection

Because winter is planted in the greenhouse, its growth cycle will be longer, so in the selection of varieties, we should choose strawberry seedlings with a short dormant period.

During strawberry planting, we must regularly remove diseased leaves, withered yellow leaves and diseased fruits, and often clean up ditches to manage soil moisture to prevent ice and rotten fruits.
