Cantaloupe is a kind of summer fruit, which ripens from July to September under natural conditions. However, through the control of modern cultivation techniques, the mature period can be controlled from May to October.

Several common cantaloupe species on the market:

Xizhou honey: light hemp green, greenway, fine reticulation, orange flesh, fine meat, crisp, good flavor, sugar content 20%, the best produced in eastern Xinjiang.

East Lake melon: beautiful net grain, taste like fragrant pear, sweet, crisp and tender, with attractive aromas of milk, fruit and wine.

It tastes like fragrant pear, the central refractive sugar is more than 15%, and the single melon weighs about 2.5 kg.

Jiashi melon ranks first among all kinds of melons in Xinjiang and becomes the leader among all kinds of melons and fruits in China.

Although cantaloupe is beneficial to defecation, invigorating qi, clearing lungs and relieving cough, but its sugar content is relatively high, people with diabetes are not suitable for consumption.
