Planting techniques of chrysanthemum cauliflower

When planting chrysanthemum cauliflower, we should choose the place where the temperature is relatively stable and relatively low, and the soil with deep soil layer, good drainage and fertile soil is better. Mix the seeds with fine sand and sow them, cover the soil after sowing, cover the sunshade net and water thoroughly. Topdressing once in 5 days after transplanting, and once every 7 to 10 days after transplanting, drenched during high temperature and drought in summer and drained in rainy season.

1. Select the place

Chrysanthemum cauliflower is cold-resistant and avoid high temperature. The seeds can germinate when the temperature is more than 4 ℃. The optimum temperature for seedling growth is 15-20 ℃, and the seedlings grow vigorously at 20 ℃. When selecting the land, the place where the temperature is relatively stable and relatively low is better, and the soil with deep soil layer, good drainage and fertile soil is better. After selecting the plot, prepare the land, apply enough rotten organic fertilizer as the base fertilizer, and turn it deeply and fine rake to make a flat bed.

2. Sowing seeds

The seeds can be sown in February in southern China and in the cold areas of the north in early April. Sow the seeds with fine sand, cover the fine soil about 0.5 cm thick, cover the sunshade net and water thoroughly, and cover the plastic film when it is cold and rainy in early spring. About 10 days later, the seedlings are unearthed, remove the sunshade net or plastic film, and the seedlings can be transplanted to the field when they have 2 or 3 pieces.

3. Fertilizer and water

Topdressing should be applied once 5 days after planting, and once every 7-10 days, and soil fertilizer should be combined with urea and compound fertilizer; it has strong branching, rapid lateral branch germination and great demand for fertilizer, so the times of topdressing should be increased when cultivated in barren soil. Pay attention to watering during high temperature and drought in summer, but avoid stagnant water in the field, and pay attention to waterlogging and drainage in rainy season to prevent rotting roots.

4. Ploughing and weeding

Plants should be ploughed and weeded before row closure, weeding should be relatively diligent, weeds can not exceed 8 cm, generally clear larger weeds, the grass will be covered by chrysanthemum brain in the later stage, it is difficult to grow up. It is appropriate to loosen and cultivate the soil after harvesting the stalks of the old stubble before winter.
