When preparing the soil, phoxim mixed with a little water and applied together with base fertilizer can control grubs; if there are more grubs, beta-cyhalothrin can be added. Seed dressing with phoxim or chlorpyrifos, imidacloprid, thiamethoxam, etc. during seeding can control underground pests such as white grubs, etc. When seed dressing is added, it can control root rot and stem rot.

1. Phoxim: It is a low-toxic organophosphorus pesticide suitable for controlling underground pests. It has good effect on larvae of various lepidopteran pests that harm peanuts, wheat, rice, cotton, corn, fruit trees, vegetables, mulberry, tea and other crops, and also has certain killing effect on eggs.

2. Chlorpyrifos: It belongs to phosphorothioate pesticide, which is easy to combine with organic matter in soil. It has special effect on underground pests. The effective period is more than 30 days. It has good control effect on various chewing and piercing mouthparts pests on rice, wheat, cotton, fruit trees, vegetables and tea trees.

3. Imidacloprid: It is a nicotinic ultra-efficient insecticide. After the pest contacts the pesticide, the normal conduction of the central nervous system is blocked, causing paralysis and death. It can be applied to rice, wheat, corn, cotton, potato, vegetable, sugar beet, fruit tree and other crops. Because of its excellent systemic property, it is especially suitable for seed treatment and particle spraying.
