1. Garden selection

Kiwifruit is a light-loving fruit tree. Its roots are afraid of waterlogging and high temperature and drought. Its new shoots are afraid of strong wind and cold in late spring and low temperature. It is suitable to build gardens on the south slope, southeast slope and southwest slope facing the sun. The soil is suitable for sandy soil with deep soil layer, fertile soil and good permeability. The soil is slightly acidic.

2. Seedling planting

selecting seedlings without diseases and insects, growing healthily and having developed and complete root systems, planting the seedlings from October to the end of February of the next year, separating the root systems during planting, spreading the root systems evenly on the mound, and filling the seedlings with fine soil after the root systems are laid.

3. Fertilization and watering

Before seedling planting, base fertilizer is applied in planting pit; young trees adopt small amount of multiple fertilization method, then fertilize 3 times a year, base fertilizer 1 time and top fertilizer 2 times, mainly quick-acting, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is 4:2:1. The water demand during the growth period is large, and the soil moisture content is required to be about 70% in the three months of 6, 7 and 8; if continuous rainfall is encountered in summer, or if the land has just been irrigated and rainfall occurs, drainage should be carried out in time to avoid waterlogging.

4. Timely harvest

Kiwi fruit should be harvested in windless sunny days, rainy days, rain and dew are not suitable for harvest in the morning, picking time before 10 am when the temperature does not rise is better.
